We were looking for a spot at Havasu, all the Rv parks were full as well as all the State park campgrounds. Ranger at Lake Havasu State park gave us this location!! He said pretty much everything to the east of 95 was dispersed camping owned and operated by the Blm. (Check Blm map) There were a lot of people camping out here. Everything from families to boondockers. So many spaces to choose from. Pull offs all the way down the road. Rocks can be sharp, I blew a tire in one pull out. I liked this spot tremendously. It allowed us to stay in Havasu a little longer 😁. After 2 days of boondocking we got our spot at Cattail Cove.. Little BBQ spot on the corner of Mariposa and Rolling Hills is worth checking out. Pulled pork sandwiches are amazing 👌!
