Liked this spot

Loved the filtered water for filling our water containers, easily accessible dumps, dog beach, cleanliness and quietness of the campsite. Quietness of the campsite is really important for us as our dogs our sensitive to noise and bark whenever they hear something. Only downfall was the campsite was too small for my liking.

Not the best, not the worst

This place was okay. It was right next to the water and the mountains in the background were beautiful. Close to the city- so we unhooked the RV and for gas and picked up a few items. They have a Walmart, Sams Club and Home Depot within two miles away. Based on the street we were on, Bullhead City was a very sketchy place though and did not feel very safe. The campsite itself felt safe though. The campsite was too small and close to others for my liking. We have dogs who love to bark at other dogs and whenever they hear sounds, so we always prefer a lot of space. Our dogs love the water but there were too many other dogs and people around to let them off leash to be able to play. Important to know, there is a two dog limit. The neighbors had their music extremely loud until around 9pm and there are a lot of jet skis constantly whizzing by. So, overall, not the worst but wasn’t really for us.

Eek

Drove in and drove out. There were a couple RVs which looked broken down and a lot of trash. Did not feel safe. Left to try Cattail Cove, which is 10 minutes away.

Spacious and close to the freeway!

Having four dogs who love to bark when they hear/see someone, we really appreciate campsites with lots of space. Dogs didn’t bark once! Very quiet, maybe two others in the park with us on a Sunday evening. About 10-15 minutes from the freeway, so it’s the perfect distance from the freeway - no freeway noise!
