We needed a place to sleep while a parent was in the hospital. We were in the middle of a roadtrip so we had a big camper plus a trailer. We didn’t need amenities so it was only $15/ night. The bathroom and showers were adequate.

We didn’t want to take our camper and trailer combo down the side road to the hot springs but it was only a short bike ride.  We camped in a wide spot on the road, but only 2 cars went by.  It was late March and we woke up to snow. There are many nooks to camp in, but some of the side roads are narrow and rutted.

We skied Mt. Bachelor and were on our way to Lake Tahoe and just needed a place to sleep. It’s just a wide spot on a side road, but was what we were looking for.
