Where Libby Creek flows through Medicine Bow National Forest, this drive-in campground accommodates RVs up to 22 feet and operates from mid-May through early September. The US Forest Service manages 20-dollar sites that include picnic tables, toilets, and trash service, with the creek providing natural sound cover from nearby road noise.
Reviewers note clean, well-maintained campsites, though mosquitoes can be intense during summer months and cell coverage remains limited to one bar or less. The campground sits among other camping spots around Centennial along the creek corridor. Fishing access and hiking trails provide outdoor activities, while pets and alcohol are both permitted on-site.
Description
Located off the Snowy Range Scenic Byway in the Libby Recreation Area, this campground has 16 campsites (trailers under 22 feet), picnic tables, toilets, drinking water (sometimes) and fire grates. There is fishing access at Libby Creek.
Potable water is typically available in this campground from July to September. These dates may vary due to weather, well and/or pump maintenance, and water testing requirements. As such, we encourage you to bring your own potable water, or call ahead.
