A moose visiting camp each night is not unusual at Nash Fork, a US Forest Service campground set within camping near Medicine Bow National Forest at roughly 10,000 feet outside Centennial, Wyoming. The campground runs July 1 through September 10, costs $20 per night, and accommodates RVs up to 48 feet, though access is rough and worth confirming before arrival. A small trout stream runs along the east side of the campground, and a trail leads up to a nearby lake. Note that pine bark beetle damage prompted significant tree clearing in past years, leaving stumps and downed wood across much of the interior. Perimeter sites retain more cover. Pit toilets are on-site and reported clean, but there is no potable water. Brooklyn Lake Campground sits about 1.2 miles northwest for campers who want a different setup.
