Wolf Den RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Wolf Den RV Park, a family-run property just off Highway 89 in Thayne, Wyoming, with 14 full-hookup RV sites, tent sites, and roughly a dozen log cabins on the grounds. Sites are gravel, level, and wide, with most configured as pull-throughs that accommodate RVs up to 50 feet. Electric, water, and sewer hookups are standard at every RV site, and the park also provides WiFi with reliable reception, according to multiple reviewers.

The property sits in a valley with open sightlines toward mountains in all directions. Debra M. notes "great view of the mountains from any site and in all directions," which holds up across other reviews as well. Campers report that road noise from the adjacent highway is not noticeable at night. Cell service gets a mention in reviews, with at least one camper noting good reception. A playground and picnic area are on-site, and a food truck and liquor store operate on the grounds.

The shower house and laundry room are consistently described as clean and well-maintained. The owners are noted for frequent upkeep and visible improvements. Hikers can find trails within a short drive. Nearby, RV Park at JACZ and Salt River Public Access give additional options for those exploring campgrounds around Star Valley Ranch. Pets are welcome, though there is no dedicated dog park on the property.

Small, very clean campground

Meticulously cared for family owned and run campground with log cabins. Many pros to this campground... Nice wide sites, most pull through, clean showers and laundry room. The people who run it are super friendly and helpful. Great liquor store and great food truck attached to the grounds. great hook ups, reception and even better WiFi. Only cons are that it is just off Hwy 89, but you don't hear road noise at night. No dog park and is over an hour to Grand Teton and Jackson Hole. We did find great hiking only a few minutes from the campground. We would definitely recommend this place. The owners are constantly out doing improvements, which impressed us a great deal

Small Campground with Big Personality

We were traveling from the snow in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone and wanted to find a place close by with warmer temps.   Found this campground on google search.  Has a total of 14 RV sites, all full hook ups with a picnic table,  some tent sites and about a dozen cabins.  RV sites are gravel and very level.  There is a playground and picnic area.  There is a shower house and a laundry.   The office has ice and some supplies.  There is a package store in the front and the town of Alpine is about 10 miles away.   The campground is very well kept and the owner is very helpful.   Great view of the mountains from any site and in all directions.
