Tincup Campground

This Forest Service campground sits along Tincup Creek in the Caribou National Forest, accessible via Forest Road 34. The site provides basic amenities including vault toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables, with no hookups or developed water systems. Recent visitors note the campground remains largely empty except during holiday weekends, creating a quiet environment for those preferring minimal facilities.

The location serves as a staging point for exploring the broader Idaho-Wyoming border region, with campsites near Star Valley Ranch offering additional options for campers wanting more amenities. One reviewer mentioned the proximity to the Tetons, though noted the facilities could use better maintenance. Targhee National Forest Tincup Campground provides an alternative for those seeking a different management approach in the same general area.

Nice area.

Nice area to visit. Not to far from the Tetons. Just wish there was a little upkeep such a nice spot.
