Sites are primitive… No running water, no electric, no restrooms. Sites consist of previously used dispersed site containing clearing and fire pits. There are camping spots for tents and RVs from large to small. If the first spot doesn’t suit you just keep traveling down route 20 to the next.
Far apart and lots of privacy.
We camped along a stream in a 32 foot RV. We were visited by a mother and baby moose.
If you are seeking privacy, this is your place.

GuideI can’t think of one negative comment, even the towns 9 o’clock curfew alarm was charming. The concrete sites are level and spacious with tables, fire pits and charcoal grills. The grounds are well cared with a small playground and dog run. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a paved walk just steps out of the campground where we took a walk and watched deer. We only stayed one night but wish that all our campgrounds could be like this one.

Lovely big hot spring pool. it has different sections with different temps. They clean the pools bi-weekly so make sure to ask when reserving if its a cleaning week because you will lose pool time.
Didnt have much luck with wifi. at&t was very week, verizon was good in the area.
State park near by with more hot spring views and bison views. We did the spirit trail just over a mile.
Beware the whole area smells like rotten eggs due to the sulfer in the springs. It can be nauseating.

GuideWe arrived around 4pm with a reservation for a cabin. The host was great and a nice quiet place. Cabins are clean and the restroom/shower area is very well maintained. Stocked main office with good amenities. Our space heater in the cabin wasn’t working and was replaced quickly. There is a fire ban so no open fires or cooking. I opted to use my gas stove on the porch and there wasn’t a problem. Good location if your headed into Cody or Yellowstone within the next few days. TV also has a Roku adaptor. Laundry room/ shower open 24 hours.
ScoutWe loved everything about this campground. My 4 yo son loved the pool and the playground. My 12 daughter loved the WiFi and extra clean showers and bathrooms. The laundry room was immaculate. We also got some fancy rocks for a very low price. After a long drive, this was amazing to arrive at a well organized ground, very level with picnic tables and trees and calming surroundings.
TravelerWe had a terrible time trying to reach someone here to make a reservation but we finally did. -Huge hot pool. -Rest rooms have 2 stalls in women’s. -Showers-there are 4 but 2 are being repaired coin operated. .25 cents for 3 mins. -has full hook-up,pull through. Just electric and water sites as well. -shade available -pet friendly but not a lot of availability to walk other than in campground -next to train tracks.2 a day except Sunday -WiFi is inconsistent, no real cell coverage. -$45 a night
