Best Glamping near Hyattville, WY

We just arrived here and have fallen in love with this place. Cozy, super clean, especially the bathrooms! And it’s not just for RVs. There are cabins and yurts. Host is very friendly and helpful. Totally recommend!

We have stayed here quite often over the past 30 years or so and thouroly enjoyed soaking for hours in enormous pools there .

A great place to hang out and relax in central Wyoming.

This is a nice spot when traveling through Wyoming. The sites could use a little upgrading that’s why I didn’t give it a 5-star rating. The bathrooms were clean, the showers and laundromat are coin operated, and there a full hook-ups for each site. The Mineral Pool is Awesome. Staff very friendly.

We stayed at the Buffalo Wyoming KOA in August 2021. This is a very nice KOA park and in fact was our favorite KOA that we have visited. This is a family run KOA that has done some pretty incredible upgrades to this resort. Upon arrival, we were placed in a private site along a babbling brook. It was fantastic sitting outside at any time of day or night and listen to the water running by just outside our door. This park offers FHU sites that are very spacious. A number of sites that even run right beside the river. There is river beach access for everyone. The best park WiFi we have ever used, a nice pool and awesome gated dog run. It was lovely walking around the park in the evening talking to our fellow campers. Wonderful family run park which we highly recommend. This quiet campground is awesome. I’ve stayed here twice. Good fishing, and lots of wildlife. Moose and deer frequently are seen walking through or near the campground. Close to lots of hiking and biking trails. The only downfall is it’s 3 miles down a bumpy dirt road. Check this spot out if you’re in the area!

Meadow lark lake is beautiful. Well run and clean campground. Showed up late and still got a spot

This campground is fairly flat with gravel roadway and gravel sites. There is a nice blend of shade trees and evergreens. Some sites are great for solar and some well shaded. Very quiet. 

Directions: From Ten Sleep, WY, take Highway 16 for about 21.2 miles to FSR 27, turn left and drive 3 miles to the campground

Small but busy park. Best sites for views are along creek where you can watch moose beaver and trout in creek and meadow. Can get noisy before quiet hours. A lot of people drive through looking for campsite and kids were rambunctious when we were there. Great camp host

Decent, small campground. Few sites are level. Fire pit needed cleaning. Toilets were clean. Camp hosts on site, but never came by. Evidently there was a family reunion of sorts so some noise. They kayaked on the stream behind the camp sites.

Beautiful campsites, brook trout fishing in the lake and the creek below, as well as a 4x4 trail that makes a large loop between shell reservoir and lake Adelaide. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed at a site right across from the lake on a hill in the pines.

Very nice camp host and beautiful campground. A little spendy for what they had to offer us. We ended up not staying because it was $30 for us to park in gravel in the middle of their lot. The cabins and tents looked really nice but were booked up for the night.

It was so so beautiful and secluded. There were other camp sights around but still very private and clean. Didn’t have any trouble with bears visiting but we made sure to pick everything up and leave it the way we found it for others to enjoy!

We camped way back below Freeze Out Point and woke up to a spectacular sunrise and 4 moose right in camp. This is an incredible area. Very busy due to hunting season, so hold off heading back there this time of year unless that's what you're here for. Fresh snow was gorgeous! Roads were pretty sloppy, especially once they melted in the afternoon.

Stayed in the Sheep Mountain Fire Tower. With gale force winds blowing the shutters off...and a steep walk to the vault toilet...we bailed early. However, the Bighorns are AMAZING! Saw my 1st moose! Take tent heater for the tower unless going in middle of summer.

It’s what you expect from KOA, clean level sites. Restrooms and showers were clean and except for some train noises, very quiet. A nice walking path along the Big Horn River.

We loved everything about this campground. My 4 yo son loved the pool and the playground. My 12 daughter loved the WiFi and extra clean showers and bathrooms. The laundry room was immaculate. We also got some fancy rocks for a very low price. After a long drive, this was amazing to arrive at a well organized ground, very level with picnic tables and trees and calming surroundings.
