Just west of the Bighorn Basin, Greybull KOA sits on concrete sites that accommodate RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups. The campground operates year-round and provides level sites with picnic tables, fire pits, and charcoal grills. A small playground and dog run occupy part of the grounds, while a pool offers relief during summer months.
The facility maintains clean restrooms and showers, though train noise occasionally carries through the area. "Restrooms and showers were clean and except for some train noises, very quiet," reports Charles A.. Staff members handle check-ins and assist with campground information. WiFi reaches throughout the property, and a laundry room provides washing facilities for extended stays.
A paved walking path runs directly behind the campground along the Big Horn River levee, extending roughly two miles for biking or walking. Deer frequent the area near this path during evening hours. The town of Greybull lies minutes away, with restaurants and grocery stores accessible by bike or short drive. A 9 p.m. town siren sounds briefly each evening.
The location works well for travelers heading to Yellowstone or exploring the Bighorn National Forest region. Other campgrounds around Greybull include several smaller facilities within walking distance of this KOA location.
