    Chute Pond Park

    One of my favorite campgrounds

Chute pond park is one of my favorite campgrounds to stay at. They have reasonable rates, clean bathrooms and almost all sites are electric. There’s lots to do the whole weekend whether you want to go hiking, fishing, boating, small cliff jumping, or take a walk to slippery rock. This year they also have now available kayaks for rent at $20 per hour.

We loved camping here when it was farmer genes our whole family. My brother's family and my parents. Now we can't camp here. None of us because of dog discrimination.

Great view, Cabins run down and Beach was a mess

We have been coming here for a long time. It is under new management and we thought things would get better. While we were here other guests trashed the beach and had dogs running and using the bathroom throughout the campsite. The rules for dogs were to keep them on leashes and clean up after them. These rules were not being followed which caused the beach, in the past is lovely, but with the dogs using it as a bathroom the beach smelt like poop. Nobody in our week of staying cleaned up after them so we needed to go somewhere else to swim. If your place is pet friendly please make sure to keep up with your own rules. The cabins are run down but showers are hot and the utilities are still able to be used

    Wonderful, riverside campground !

Excellent campground! Well maintained and easy to maneuver around. Quiet and enough sun and shade for everyone. Owners are helpful and very nice! Nice playground for the kids, swim beach for great summer fun, campground store/food/drinks if you’re hungry or desire a cold drink to beat the heat and such amazing riverside views that melt the weeks stress away! We will definitely be back to this jem of a campground! Come see for yourself, don’t take my word for it!

    Beautiful Spacious Sites

A last minute trip took us to this area and the online booking made it so easy to find availability. We were extremely pleased with the friendly and accommodating staff. The site we booked was very level and spacious for our toy hauler. They have many things to offer at the store where you check-in including: tap beer, cute local goods and crafts, and anything you may have forgotten to pack on your camping trip! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. You can tell there is great care and a commitment to growth toward this campground. I would check out their website for any upcoming events. If you’re looking for an event, an adventure down the river or a charming wooded campsite, I would recommend this place every time.

    Clean and Fun

    • Yards on the lower sites are large, lots of room with concrete pads, but power/water hookups at lower sites are designed for motorhomes, not travel trailers
    • Yards on upper sites are cramped and unlevel
    • Taco Truck on site has amazing food!
    • The campground is ATV/UTV friendly but the area “trails” are gravel roads except the ATV park east of Crandon
    • Dump site is unlevel and leans away from hose hookup making it difficult to fully flush holding tanks
    • Driveway to get in and out of dump site is rough and quite tight for a camper longer than 35ft to maneuver around
    • On July 4th wknd we paid $60/night for water and power hookup, a little steep for not having full hookups

    Busy Fun!

Busy, loud with lots of fun opportunities to meet other folks, bbq, check out the bar, enjoy good eats and top off the good life with friends and family. This isn’t our usual kind of camping but we have family in Eagle River and wanted to explore the area while visiting. Not sure what it’s like off season, but this is an excellent place for family gatherings and summer activities. Top notch amenities.

    Amazing spacious Forest sites

The owners are passionate about providing an excellent camping experience. It is not a normal campground, sites are very spaced out, group sites can accommodate up to 30 people per site. Large groups of campers come to explore natures untouched wolf river and experience white water rafting together. Groups have a very unique bonding experience through these river trips. They have a convenience store that magically has anything anyone may ever forget for peace of mind that you won’t have to leave your secluded nature sanctuary. Guests don’t want to leave and cannot wait to come back!

    Peshtigo River Campground

Good campground to do some river floating

We thought we had a small site- until we got there. Site 86 is the smallest on the map but it is not small at all! We have a 33 1/2 ft 5th wheel and had plenty of space. We could have had some tents on the site if we wanted to! The fire pit was away from the level area the RV is to be parked. The electric and water were a little farther away than typical but not too bad.

The owners are awesome and worked with us on our reservation- my friend set the site and I paid for it later. Everyone we spoke to with a seasonal site was very nice and helpful. The campground was quiet for the most part. You could hear there were people were out at their sites but no one was being loud or obnoxious. It was perfect!

Tubing was a bit of a different experience to start off but ended good. We waited for about 40 minutes for the bus. Once the bus came, everyone piled on. We had our own tubes so we put them on ourselves as well as our cooler. We rented two cooler tubes- one for my cooler and one as a “dry” area. We we’re on the bus for about 25 minutes due to too many people getting on and two large groups having to decide who was getting off. Once we arrived at the drop off site- all the cooler tubes were grabbed right away. They made sure we got both tubes we paid for before we pushed off down the river. I was very thankful for this!!!!! My personal tube popped half way down the river due to it being old so I’m very happy we had the other two tubes!

The river was nice! Low in some spots but we never had to get out and drag our stuff. Some trees to paddle around occasionally, but nothing out of the normal.

One thing I was surprised at was this campground does not have a bar and or grill.

    Keyes Lake Campground

    Great time

We found this place by mistake when the campground we were going to gave away our spot. It is very clean in the campgrounds and the site we had was privet and large enough for our 5th wheel and truck and boat. The bathroom was also spotless. The showers were free to campers with plenty of hot water. Keyes lake was right across the street and the fishing was great. Most certainly will return.

    A different experience

Very nice campsites. With great owners. It probably is the newest campground in the state. All the RV pads have concrete in their leveled. Every campsite has a fire pit. But at their little bar area it is very unique they have a pile of different games for everybody to use or play they have a big camp fire there every night. Very down to earth people but just want everybody to have a great time.

Had to Come Back to My Roots

I'm no stranger to this campground, and it's trails are as good as any for an in-town park. I thoroughly enjoy getting to take my kids down the same paths and wooden bridges I explored on as a kid. The beach is a bit different than I remember it as a kid but still nice. The campground has done a good job maintaining and expanding the trails as well as the utility buildings on site.

    Great in the Fall

The Diamond Lake area is a great example of good places to be to enjoy the Fall foliage. A simple camp setup is all I needed to enjoy my time here. The best feature here would likely be space to roam under the trees.

This campground boast a variety of site types from cabins, to a yurt, to a bunkhouse, pull-through sites, and much more. They have a playground as well as nice beaches to access the lake from. Minigolf is yet another feature on site. If you want one place that has it all for the many types of camping you may like to do, Diamond Lake is a great camp.

    Beautiful Spot on the RIver

A few years back, I was a briefly a white water rafting guide for a company that rode on both the Menominee and Peshtigo Rivers. This camp does a great job on their tubing and river-based activities. People come from far and wide to enjoy the camp's outdoor offerings. The campground has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to stick around. The cabin are cozy and well furnished. I only regret that I hadn't visited sooner!

    Charming Little Camp

The thing that impresses me most about this campground is that they manage to do a lot with a little. The Falls are a beautiful little site which the campsites themselves manage to wrap around to maximize the space and fit spaces for all to enjoy. Fortunately, the river itself adds more space for folks to enjoy the water on rocky outcroppings and trees lining much of the banks.

The small town in which the camp is placed gives a true Wisconsin-Midwestern veneer to your stay. Some basic amenities are close by, and the community itself feels safe and inviting. I would have enjoyed a longer stay but I hope to visit it again soon. 5 stars for making the most of what they have.

    Excellent for Young Families

As a father with 3 young kids, I thoroughly enjoy this camp for the activities and amenities available. The water area is a favorite for kids and the grounds sport plenty of things to grab their attention from mini-golf to the lake. The sites themselves had enough to meet your needs, as well as enough tree cover to still help you enjoy the feeling of being in nature. The drive in is nice and accessible even for bigger rigs. It's a good entry point for the nature in Northeast Wisconsin.
