This gorgeous county park in Marathon County, Wisconsin is 1,450 acres of mixed hardwoods forming a two-mile peninsula jutting out deep into the waters of the Big Eau Pleine Flowage.
Eau Pleine is from the French phrase meaning full water or stock river. There are two separate campgrounds–(…
Camping Right on the Baraboo River doesn't get much better than this. Clean quarter shower and restroom. Nice quiet area to walk around and just enjoy nature safely. Everybody I've been in contact with is very friendly. It's preseason so nobody is really here. Both primitive and RV camping are…
Awesome time, clean bathrooms and sight was clean. Bonus having hiking trails right in back of us.
We camped at Mirror Lake in 2019 and it was a beautiful place to explore and bike. Their playgrounds are fun for little ones and they had a great nature program that year.
We stayed at the group campsite 118, 119 and they were great. Perfect for our group of 6. For the most part we could not see our Nabors. Most of the sites in the park were semi wooded and private and none of the sites were stacked on top of each w

We stayed in later April, so it was a limited experience. But the staff was very friendly and the campground is across from a lake. This is mainly a rv campground and not private or secluded. For a family with a camper, there are full hookups or water and electricity with flat gravel pads. Sites…

We love this area but way to crowded during the summer. We went in the late fall and it was great. Only a hand full of campers and the trailers where quiet. Kids lived climbing on the rocks.

Mirror lake feels like taking a little step back into time. Ishnala supper club is basically in the state park, and having an Old Fashioned cocktail there is quite possibly one of my top Wisconsin experiences.
This park is kind of the hidden gem of the Wisconsin Dells area. If you are…

We arrived friday afternoon and left saturday after lunch. Good weather, and water. Only downside was the bathroom/showerhouse was out of service at our campground section.
The cart in sites are fantastic at Wildcat Mountain! Each site is spacious with most heavily treed for shade. Each site has a nice large flat pad for a tent or two, fire ring, bench and picnic table. Proximity to potable water, vault or modern toilets and designated parking are all within 400 yards…
Nice separation from other campers, Great Lake view, boating, swimming, picnic area, showers clean and well kept up! Our first time camping had a great time peaceful and friendly. Enjoyed my Birthday with my partner, Thank You!!
I just stayed at this campground this weekend and it was a blast! The campsite we had was decently size and felt very private with all the trees surrounding us! The hiking is great and it was a short walk to the beach, it was also a short car ride to the chain of lakes!
