My spot! A room with a view!!

I decided to go camping knowing that the next day would be potentially raining. Guess what it’s raining! For a couple more hours. But it’s all good I wanted to get out of the city and discovered this place. It’s kind of rustic. Most of the spots are right next to eachother. But people are respectful and it’s been an excellent experience! I get service decently I have Verizon.

There is access and a shower. And normal bathroom accessories. By the pavilion. The actual campground has Portl-potties. Each spot has a picnic table and fire pit and guess what??!!! You can have a fire!!! It’s a great escape!

A word of warning.!!!!!!!!

There is pitch on the trees. Bunches of it. My dog got into it and not fun. Bring some WD-40 incase. It helped a lot and dawn dish soap.
Enjoy!!

Love it!

My husband and I have stayed here a few times and are getting ready to stay again. The price is very affordable and the campground is clean, the showers are nice and hot and the location is perfect for plenty of hiking and fishing adventures or just staying at camp and enjoying the river. The host Chris and his wife are amazing!

Home valley

We made a reservation but there were still spots left. Nice host. Explains you all about the campground when you come in. The train passes right next to this campsite day and night (with horn) so keep in mind the noise from that. Columbia river next to the campground. Some camping spots are in a angle and not suitable for rv or bus or rooftoptents. We made a reservation for site 7 but we couldn't make that work with our rooftop tent. The spots are large enough but close together. There are porta potty toilets. A small 5 min walk there is a building with flushing toilets and nice warm showers. There is also day park beach nearby right of the campground.

Not FCFS

Showed up Thursday and campground was empty except for host. After talking to host I learned it’s no longer FCFS (rsvp via rover pass). He said all sites were booked for weekend so i was only able to stay one night. Host was very nice and I had good service (t-mobile) to be able to use my hotspot for work.

Nice river view, fantastic host!

Very convenient location right off 14 but amazingly little road noise. There are showers for no additional fee. The camp host Christopher is super nice and helpful. We will stay here again.

Camping

This place was very nice and right on a lake. Quiet the whole night and the host were really friendly. The only thing is the showers are really dirty but was kinda expecting that at any camp place with a shower. Oh also this place isn’t free like it says in the description. $20 not a bad deal for what you get

Great shady campground with views of the river

The one downside is that there are trains that pass by with horns blaring throughout the day and night. This is the case on both sides of the river. So unless you find a place away from the river and out of the gorge, you will just have to deal with that. So bring ear plugs if you're not a very heavy sleeper. The camp hosts were super friendly. Easy access to the river and a small protected beach via the neighboring park.

Homeless Camp

aThis was the worst campground I have ever driven thru. It is a homeless camp. I didnt even want to stop and use the bathroom.

The sign says its $20 per night, but I think every singl tent in there was illegally squatting.

Some of the sites were really nice with water views, i was shocked to not see any recreational campers here. The day use area was nice.
