Wind patterns and steep terrain shape the camping experience at Cascade Creek Campground, where multiple access options include drive-in, boat-in, and hiking routes. This Forest Service site sits near both creek and lake waters within Wenatchee National Forest, offering two camping areas with fire rings and picnic tables. Bear food containers are provided on-site.
The toilet facility requires crossing a downed tree over the river, making access challenging for small children. One reviewer noted significant wind exposure with no natural windbreak for cooking or setup. The morning hike out involves steep grades that require physical preparation. Cell service is available, and the campground allows pets and alcohol. Nearby options include Refrigerator Harbor Campground and other Forest Service sites along the lake corridor.
