South Navarre Campground

Hiking enthusiasts will find miles of trails accessible directly from South Navarre Campground, a Forest Service site positioned along a creek in Wenatchee National Forest. The campground requires high-clearance vehicles and good tires for the lengthy dirt mountain road approach, making it unsuitable for trailers.

Spacious sites provide ample room between neighbors, while vault toilets receive regular maintenance. Limited Verizon cell service keeps campers partially connected. Stock water flows nearby for both human and animal use. For easier access, Safety Harbor Campground offers a more trailer-friendly alternative to the southwest.

The great escape

This is one of my favorite places to get away from it all but still be connected. Limited cell service with Verizon.

Great campsites! Plenty of space between and large area to enjoy. Vault toilets are in good shape, well-maintained. Miles of trail to enjoy from the site. Stock water nearby.

Travel is best in a high clearance vehicle with good tires. It’s a long drive on a dirt mountain road. NOT for trailers, I’ve drug with just a basket on my hitch in a couple of spots.
