Cute sites, but you will be interrupted 500 times a day with walkers who use the trail and want to go straight through your site.
It’s a high hike. Straight up. There are two sites. One north and one south of the lake. A few good level sites and some built in benches. No fires permitted and a few fishing spots if you are daring.
Flick Creek has only one site, however if you are a small group or alone it’s great. There is a bear box, a nice vaulted toilet, a shelter, and a nice point. The dock was a bit sketchy, but not dangerous. If you hit this and it’s in use, you have a 3.6 mile track to Lakeview campsite in Stehekin. Be warned, you can’t reserve this site, so get going early Incase you have to rush past.
There were multiple sites here and a covered area that appeared to have shelves and a bunk built into it. More sites are available for a hike off to the north once you reach the docks. The toilets are well used but stocked. Both docks felt safe to be on, and the Lady of the Lake will stop there. More sheltered from the wind than other sites along this trail.
This site has a good area if you are alone. There is a second campsite without the metal ring placed next to it. Our trip had huge winds which made it difficult to set up and cook with no wind break. To get to the toilet you have to cross a blowdown over the river, so not the best for small kids. Also the hike in is very steep in the morning, so get adjusted at the site before you leave.
