Nice site

We were able to find a site at the last minute, after 2 surrounding sites were full. Camp host was friendly and prompt to check us in. Nice big site. Dogs allowed on leash. Bathrooms available, but didn’t use. Some highway noise, but not bad. Nice place to stay with a creek running nearby.

Good enough for a night stay

There was nothing wrong with this place, it was just kinda blah. Gravel road, sites are paved though. Really close to highway, so noise is definitely heard, even at night. Sites are close together, but there is a small amount of grass between them. There are showers, laundry and Rec room, but we didn’t use any. It was a fine place to spend the night if you’ve passing through, but I wouldn’t want to spend much more time than that there.

Beautiful and peaceful

We were able to move to a lake view site. Our site was private and peaceful. Campground had bathroom, showers, boat docks and a boat launch. We didn’t use most of the amenities, but we enjoyed our stay immensely. Plenty of space, a nice trail to the middle Thompson. Great for dogs too.

Cute western themed decoration

Good space between sites. They were working on getting some of the grass to grow back, so some sites might have more grass than the little we had when we were there. Friendly hosts. Dog area not completely fenced in, and basically just dirt, but it was fine. It was a quiet and peaceful stay.

Great little hidden gem

This park is a few miles the main highway, but worth the drive. Lots of space between sites, grass, full hook ups. Friendly hosts, very peaceful.

Nice place, but crowded

We went in mid March on a Thursday and the place was at capacity. Like most RV campgrounds, the spaces are very close together. The facility was clean and everyone was friendly. Since it was COVID, we didn’t actually have any personal contact with any of the staff except for the maintenance guy who brought us wood. The site is “on” the San Lorenzo river, but there weren’t many trails to walk on. Also, no trails to walk into town, except for on the fast moving road into town. The state park, on the other side, had numerous trails and was worth the short drive to get to. All in all, this was a pleasant place to stay for a few nights.
