      Wenatchee River County Park

      Nice sites

It's really a great little gated park that's fairly affordable.  Unfortunately, it's right off the highway and on the other side of the river are the train tracks.  Both are quite active.  Otherwise this is a 5-star.  Office folks were friendly and helpful.

      Wenatchee River County Park

      Overbearing Rules

I camp in my RV in private and public parks all over the PNW approximately 60 days per year. This park is a clean park and rates are OK. HOWEVER, I've never seen rules so ridiculous and overbearing. No tobacco use anywhere in the park, including the day use area. You have to leave the property and stand on the street like some kind of outcast vagrant if you want to enjoy a cigar after hunting all day. There are cameras everywhere and you are being monitored for any possibility of violating one of their many overbearing rules. There is a$100 dollar fine if you use tobacco in the park. The sprinkler system turns on at 4:00am and will soak anything you have in the grass. My chairs were soaked. My trailer was also getting hit at 4:00 am even though we were completely on the pad. You cannot put anything on the grass- not even a rug for wiping your feet after hunting all day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARK if you enjoy sleep, tobacco, or privacy!

      Lake Easton State Park Campground

      Nice park. A little noisy.

I like this park. Beautiful views. Very pleasant and clean. Right next to I-90, easy on and off. Though the highway sounds are a constant. Periodic trains from the other side of the lake (though I find this a positive). Full hook up spots. Can accommodate larger rigs, but a few spots are a little tight to get into. Also a very good hamburger spot near by.

      Thousand Trails Crescent Bar

      Crescent Bar - Thousand Trails

Just pulled in on 09/06/2026 for two nights. Small and a little crowded, but it is Labor Day weekend.  Good place to stay next to the Columbia River for a few days.  Nice host and clean restrooms.

      Lake Easton State Park Campground

      Camping on the interstate

It's a nice campground and state park. The views are beautiful. There is access to nice trails that take you to the Palouse to Cascade trail with an old train tunnel nearby (about 2 miles from the west side of campground). Verizon cell service is great. Site 17, with full hook-ups is huge!

The interstate noise is no joke. I know everyone comments on it and I thought of course you can hear it, but I didn't think it would be that bad. There must not be any Jake brake restrictions along this stretch because I've heard so many semis. At least it slows down at night, but it's still loud.

      Leavenworth-Pine Village KOA

      Decent

You come here because of it's proximity to Leavenworth. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice park. Lots for kids to do... But it's expensive. If that's why you're here there are other options.

      Thousand Trails Leavenworth

Get a site on the river side!

Great lodge (gym, laundry, games, etc) and pool. Little to no activities or events. Bathhouses are clean and well maintained but not especially nice. So many trails! Great weekend culture. We hit Lake Wenatchee State Park multiple times while here - the best!
