The staff were great, Its very wooded, extremely peaceful. Bathrooms were very clean. My only complaint.... site 42 was very unlevel and I barely had room for my f-150 to park. If i ever go back, there are around 6 spots there that i WILL NOT stay at.
Very nice wooded and private camp sites. Driveway is level and paved. Some sites are first come first serve and a few you can reserve. Some sites have electric and water however cannot hook up water to campers.

Restrooms/showers: very clean, spacious, centrally located. Shower stalls are separate from the restroom and are basically their own room with lock.
Lots: Well maintained gravel lots. Spacious and didn't feel like we were on top of our neighbors. Good shade, lots of trees. Nice firepits!

We stayed at Wilderness Adventure for one night in “The Meadow”. We stayed a Saturday night and got to enjoy live music, and tasty beers! The staff was incredibly hospitable, and the grounds were so fun to explore. If you’re up for a fun hike, take the Outerspace trail up to “The Bluff” and enjoy…

My friend recommended New River Junction to me and I'm glad that I listened to him. The campground is not far from Virginia Tech and so there were several other campers staying a few nights with plans to go to the football game. The RV sites are along the river and two sites share an electical box…
No trees for the pull throughs but still a nice place and right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway
Very well-kept campground. Peaceful, Quiet, Wonderful Staff.
Stayed here on a whim after hiking up to McAfee Knob. Showed up right at 10pm and luckily found an empty spot. Got a fire going and made some dinner. Not the best privacy but at night there were no issues. Nice level gravel pads that we just pitches a mosquito pop up and slept on the ground.
This was a fine place to park overnight. The trailhead connects to the Appalachian Trail, so there were several other cars parked overnight as well. It is a gravel lot, pretty level. There is a little road noise until about 1030 PM. Pretty little creek runs by the gravel lot, and there are also…
I love this place try to stay her twice a year. Deer and wildlife aglore. Owners very pleasant. Big recreation building and nice cabins. Quite and spacious sites. Only down fall is if you have a big fifth wheel turning into the off road area trailer may hit box of your truck. Caution may damage…
Camped out for one night, great place. Owners are real friendly, they have a store as well. The trains though! My dog did not appreciate them, but overall nice place.

I didn't really enjoy this campsite, they have a pool, that was packed with kids and people, they also have a man-made lake, but we saw all sorts of dead fish in it. It was gross, some of the other campers said it was normal for the campground to have dead fish and dead snakes in the lake. Anyway,…
We loved this place and the owner, Tom was wonderful to work with. We had a great campsite with plenty of room in the back of the campground. Even though we were in the back, the wifi worked great the entire time. Being at the end of the water line for the park, our pressure wasn’t great so we used…

Two nights here and enjoyed it. We did laundry, sat by the pool or watched the sheep grazing on the hill. Sites are a good size and doesn't feel cramped. The store is stocked with essentials and staff is friendly.
Some of the sites are waterfront. The campground has 18 sites with water and electricity. It has 22 sites with no water or electrical hook ups. There is a place to get water. There is 2 bathhouses with toilet and showers, both ADA accessible. There is a picnic area with tables and grills. The…
