Bathhouse needs repair

The bathhouse is open air over half of it. Had no soap or toilet paper and the toilets were all plugged up. The sites could also use a little bit of gravel in the parking spaces so that the pavement doesn’t get covered with mud. The site was decent but had trash on it.

Relaxing time

We went on a long weekend trip. Camp ground was clean, bathhouse was clean and neighbors were all spaced out pretty good. Staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves and will for sure go back.

Just what my soul needed

A wonderful, peaceful and beautiful park. The campground is very nice and well kept! We enjoyed hiking the trails, swimming in the lake and sitting by our campfire. The ladies working at the check-in office were absolutely the sweetest and extremely helpful. We had a great time and will definitely return!

Bluestone state park

West Virginia at its finest! Blue stone state park is right next door to the lake so there are wonderful water activities here. There is a marina where we got to rent a boat and the catfish were plentiful. Where we camped in the state park it was really pretty rugged. Mountains and lots of trees, shrubbery to navigate through. They had a swimming pool and it was clean. I loved the lake. Big and beautiful. Great time on the water!
