Many campers appreciated the scenic riverside location with beautiful views and natural water sounds. Some visitors noted road noise concerns, though most found overnight periods quiet. The site offers basic amenities with fire pits available.

Quiet, Spacious, Great views

There's a spot just off the paved road that is very easily accessible to low-clearance sedans. I was able to make it to the end of the BLM road, driving very gingerly in my Subaru Legacy, and found a really nice, secluded spot with great views that was right next to a little trail down to the river. Very quiet there, no issue with noise from cars on the main road, and it was just a few minutes off the road, which is about a half hour from Zion NP. Would definitely come back to this spot if I'm in that area again.

Sunset Canyon

Right off the road up against Sunset Canyon Ranch pasture. Run off had rusted roads making low clearance vehicle questionable. A lot of road noise but the creek noise is pleasant when there are no cars.

Easy, clean stay with babbling brook sounds all night!

Super simple, right off the road (the no one seems to drive after 10:30/11pm until 7am the next day), with sounds of the water coming from below. Stars were the best I’ve slept under in this area.

Little stone fire pit, this solo spot is across the water from a larger spot where a group had already set up. I barely heard them even though they stayed up late around the fire - yay for the water sounds creating a natural sound barrier. Would stay again!

River with a dash of fall trees under the stars

There’s a cluster of spots for both tents and trailers to post up. The river is beautiful but appears they prefer no access to it. The fence line is down so people go anyways. This place fills up on weekend so if you get there early in day you can pick a prime space. Fire pits are all over and used. We grabbed a spot right next to the bridge and water under the falls colored tree. Stars at night are stunning. It’s quiet but you do hear the occasion car passing by from the nearby road, yet the white noise from the river softens it. October gets around 50 at night so come prepared if you’re tenting. About 20 mins outside of Zion main entrance. The mountains surrounding are beautiful.

Only one site

Single site by running water, fire ring and beautiful views! It is directly off the road (but it was pretty quiet) and there’s a large red ant hill right next to the fire pit.
