Description
On BLM land just off Highway 89 near the Paria Contact Station, this open gravel-and-sand area sits beneath the rust-colored rimrock country of southern Utah — hoodoos and sandstone formations visible in nearly every direction, with the Toadstool Hoodoos trailhead corridor a short drive away. The lot is large and flat, easily accommodating multiple rigs including big motorhomes, with fire rings scattered around the upper area. A short steep hill on the access road can be slick in wet weather, so dry conditions are advisable, but the approach is otherwise straightforward for most vehicles.
