Pleasant Creek is nestled in the shadows of the beautiful Manti LaSal National Forest, which offers wonderful hiking, mountain biking, and mountain lake fishing. The La Sal National Forest is very popular for recreation. The Wasatch Plateau area of the national forest, where the park is situated, offers scenic drives through the Huntington and Eccles Canyons National Scenic Byways, also known as the Energy Loop. These forest byways wind over the Plateau from 5,000 to 11,000 feet.
From Skyline Drive there are several high-elevation lakes and streams that feature excellent fishing and camping, and the Arapeen OHV Trail System is popular with ATV enthusiasts. The resort also features a beautiful newly renovated clubhouse and swimming pool. The clubhouse features an upscale dining area, lounge area, tv, and gaming area, and a store with basics such as ice and firewood.

Orange Olsen is located at 7,000 feet with a panoramic view of Joes Valley. The dwelling and cabin offer amenities including solar powered lighting, LP range and heated shower. The dwelling can accommodate six visitors while the cabin sleeps four. These cabins do not have electricity.
Joes Valley Reservoir offers boating and fishing opportunities just minutes away. A boat ramp is available on the east and west shorelines. Joes Valley Campground is located immediately south of Orange Olsen, with Joes Valley Group Pavilion only a mile away.
The dwelling and cabin are set in an open sagebrush meadow interspersed with pinyon-juniper and ponderosa pine trees. There is no shade available.
Renowned bouldering opportunities abound in nearby Straight and Cottonwood Canyons. Popular mountain fisheries at Grassy Lake, Pete's Hole, and Potters Ponds are all within 10 miles of Orange Olsen. The 370-mile Arapeen Off-Highway Vehicle Trail System can be accessed directly from the dwelling and cabin.

The Mammoth Guard station is located at 8,600 feet in elevation. There are two cabins on the grounds. The Mammoth Cabin was built on site while the Lake Cabin was moved to the site from its original location in the 1980s. Both cabins were constructed in the 1930s serving as forest ranger and fire crew dwellings for many years. The cabins overlook a wide expanse of sagebrush valleys with timbered slopes and ridgelines. The grounds that cabins are located is also an active administrative site. Visitors can expect to see Forest Service personnel using the grounds adjacent to the cabins. Travel Trailers and RVs are not permitted at this facility. If others are seeking to be close to your group during your reservation they should look at the nearby campgrounds at Gooseberry Group Campground and Gooseberry Reservoir.__

The cabins are situated in a spruce, fir and aspen forest setting with many mature trees on the facility grounds. You can view wildlife from the front porch of either cabin in the open meadows in the immediate area, including deer, elk, badger, eagles, hawks and more. The Mammoth Cabin receives the most shaded sunlight, while the Lake Cabin receives more direct sunlight.
Located in the Fairview City Museum there is a life size replica of a Columbian Mammoth that was found approximately 10 miles southeast of the cabins. The museum also offers exhibits with artifacts and history from the native people of the area as well as a history of the later settlers. There is access to the 350+ mile Arapeen trail system to the south as well as the Forest roads to the north.

Located in picturesque Sanpete County near Mount Pleasant, Heritage Grove Campground is one of Utah's premier campground facilities. Power and running water are freely available, and we can accomodate both small and large groups. We accept reservations from May 1st to Oct 31st, reservations open on Jan 1st. We are near the Mountain Dell Boy Scout Camp and access to the Skyline ATV trail in the rugged Manti-LaSal Mountains. Heritage Grove has tent campsites, RV parking sites and mini cabins. We have volley ball courts, a rock wall, basket ball/multi-purpose court, wading pond and a larger pond for canoeing. Our pavilion can host 40 people comfortably. We especially cater to family reunions or hosting larger groups for the whole site and we look forward to hosting your visit! Heritage Grove Campground is a 10 acre facility 4 miles southeast of Mt. Pleasant Utah. The park is owned and operated by Aspen Grove Assets, Inc.

The road to get here can be interesting if you’ve never been. I wasn’t expecting a dirt road right next to the river. You don’t need any special vehicle though and as soon as you get to the resort, it is GORGEOUS. They have a couple playgrounds (one is better than the other) and lots of open grass area. The swimming pond was a great place for my kids to play. I randomly tried this resort and it will definitely be one I go to again.

Due to issue with the conversion ban we rented we need electric hookups for every night if we want power. The battery will not stayed charged. So I had cancelled my original camping spots and had to rush and find a campground with electric. I was lucky enough to come upon this campground and was able to get a reservation the same day. Staff were friendly at the desk. They have a pool but it wasn’t currently open, showers,laundry,playground, and basketball. Spot were nice and level. Did not use the fire pit but they do have them at each site. Would recommend if in the green river area.

Nine Mile Ranch is a great campground outside of Wellington, UT and a good base camp to check out Nine Mile Canyon. They have historic cabins they have used for camping cabins, RV and tent sites. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Super friendly and knowledgeable camp host. I would definitely stay again!

Overall, it was not a bad campsite! I think our experience wasn’t the best but that’s mainly due our unpreparedness and lack of experience. There’s many things to do in Fruitland area and also places where you can enjoy the peace and quiet! I hope our learning experience can benefit anyone interested in go to this campsite! GuideI stayed here last minute booking/trip because Moab was booked up. It worked out great. One day I went to Moab, arches, Canyonlands. Another day I spent at Goblin Valley. The campsites were clean, the staff was very helpful & friendly. The pool was clean and as a bonus they has a K-9 area for pet play off leash.

GuideWe called ahead to see if they had sites available for the night. Arrived just before the office closed at 8pm. Got a pull-through full-hookups site. The campsite pads are level, nice and wide, gravel like the roads. Our site had a picnic table and a small rock fire ring. Full hookups worked fine.

ScoutWe got to our site at 11:30pm, called ahead of time right as the office was about to close to let them know we were gonna be late. The staff was phenomenal. They told us everything and left us a map and everything we needed for our site. The site was clean and very well kept. Our two pups enjoyed getting to walk around and stretch their legs. The bathroom/shower facilities are very nice and clean. We highly recommend this campground to anyone who just wants to sleep for a few hours like we did or a few days. You are right off the interstate with hotels right near you as well.

Pleasant Creek Campground is a nice campground with clean facilities. This is a privately owned campground and each site is well manicured.
The sites are close together so you don't get a whole lot of privacy. The staff were steady busy leveling off the gravel in each site and mowing the lawns. This place is great for a stop over....not my style of camping, but nonetheless it's a pretty campground.
GuideThe 9 mile Canyon Ranch has a little bit of everything. RV spots, tent camping, cabins. There are clean bathrooms and showers for $3. You can hammock in some spots. Best to call in ahead so they get you a best part with some of the trees.
Beautiful area. No service but there is Wi-Fi at the house. The lady there was SUPER nice and answered all my questions and was very willing to help and make sure I had a good stay.
I slept in my Bronco but my spot had a campfire and picnic table. Enjoyed my stay.
ScoutThis is a great campground for all types of camping situations; an oasis in the middle of the desert to refuel, shower, plug-in, have a hot meal at the restaurant next-door, recharge and even swim in the pool or float the Green River through Labrynth canyon in the warm months. So much to do in either direction from Green River - all the national parks and public land access. Not sure if there’s a better place in Utah for it.

We stayed there summer of 2021 under the old owner. We have just made reservations to stay there again in May 2022. It was a great stay. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because some of the sites aren't level and are pretty close to each other. I had to use 3 yellow square leveling blocks on the left side. Hopefully they fixed this under the new ownership. Swimming pool was great. Did not use the showers or bathrooms so no comment on them. Staff was (and is now--I just made reservations for May 2022) very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place in the Ephraim- Mt Pleasant- Fairview area with full hook-ups...........THIS IS IT! Highly recommended. We love exploring the area and Skyline Drive. Beautiful country. Just 8 miles from the amazing little Fairview museum where we learned about the Mormon pioneers who settled here. No little black flies when we were there but during some weeks can be an annoying problem. We are excited to stay there again.
GuideJust an overnight stop for us but this newer RV park is really nice. The campsites are all gravel but they were level. Restrooms/showers were some of the best I've seen in an RV park. The town of Helper is nearby and there were some really interesting storefronts on main street. The price was reasonable (with a discount) but it was still creeping up on $50 a night. If there was a negative it was during check-in I mentioned that I was a Dyrt Pro member and the young lady behind the counter told me we don't discount for that. Instead she gave me their "first responder" discount.
RangerThe Host (Jenna) was a real sweetheart and went above and beyond in educating me about her experience working in a KOA. The campground sites were EXTREMELY well kept and ALOT of work has gone into sprucing up what used to be a run down place. Every single campsite is circled with a special touch (i.e., mulch, artificial grass, rock border, etc). The large dog run area was perfect for my boxer. We spent a day hiking up to the Arches National park (a MUST DO in this area!) and the Swasey beach was an interesting and tranquil place to picnic. I would definitely stay here again!
