Really enjoyed this campground. We just had a 2-person tent and had plenty of space at our spot. We liked that there was a bathroom really close by, firewood for purchase, and a nice picnic table with shade/shelter. We didn't make a reservation and still got a spot at 5pm on a Friday. Campground…
So clean😊. Quiet, location is awesome. Great staff
Lots of OHV recreation and campers here. Not my thing but those that enjoy OHV recreation this seems to be the camping spot. Lots of motorized routes all around the area.
I reserved four nights at Lowe beach so I could hook up to electricity and be close to the water with my lab. I arrived at 4pm the first day and we played in the water several times before I saw the “ No Dogs on beach” signs. park personnel kicked us off the beach the next morning and said dogs…
I had space 7 so the camp backs up an over looks the water for a beautiful view. If you want to play in water or just enjoy the view this is great. Did a little hike but no est trails here. Space 7 is level and huge double table and camp tent options. Great attentive host. I saw her take care…

Went for first time with Trailer and loved it! Some sites even have a drive thru- no need to back up- great for Novices like me :)
Great location next to the river. Very clean facilities. Great staff!
This was a short weekend getaway for us. Nice campsites near a creek. It is a little close to the highway but there wasn’t much traffic. The shingle creek trailhead was close and the hiking is beautiful. We saw a moose about 30 feet from our campsite drinking from the creek. Clean but minimal…
I did an overnight here on Memorial Day weekend at campsite 13. The campsites were very nice, there are 2 pit restrooms, each campsite has a fire pit with a heavy duty grill top and a picnic table. There were plenty of flat spots for our tent. The only gripes I had are that it's right next to the…
It was really nice nothing negative to say
This dispersed camping was a life saver. We showed up late at night with no set camping plans. We figured coming to Moab on a Tuesday night we wouldn’t have a problem finding somewhere to camp, but when all the campsites were full we were so thankful to find this campsite. Beautiful sunsets and…
Memorial Day weekend and barely anyone where! Camped right on the Yellowstone and enjoyed a peaceful weekend!
Such a beautiful site with site #7 the best access to the lake. Easy in and space to set up camp. Site included fire ring/pit and picnic table.
At nearly 10000 feet elevation, Temps were coll and air refreshing!

This state park is close to Red Fleet state park, the lake and water at Red Fleet park is much nicer, but the campground here is more spaced out with better setups. The lake is not very scenic my opinion.

Looks like the BLM has recently updated and improved this location. Several vault toilets, campsites have tables, fire rings, tent pads and most important.. overhead awnings for shade as main camp sites are in open area with no shade trees. Note there are no trash cans or dumpsters and there is no…
