Nice place with a Fishing lake

Enjoyed our stay here. Nice and woodsy. Lots of fun trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horses. These is a small lake near by great for kids fishing (too small for much else). Camp sites were nice with fire pit, bench, and grill. The only reason I do not give this 5 stars, is the road in. The…

Loved it! Easy freeway access off the 15

We loved this spot! We only stayed one night, driving through on our way to Yellowstone. It had nice large sites, very clean. This is a new campground so the bathrooms weren’t done yet, but the hook ups and sites are level and have clean picnic tables and green grass at every site.

The camp host…

Big park, close to the lake

Nice park with many sites to choose from. The site we stayed in was set up so that open space was shared with the neighboring site, The front doors faced each other. We visited in June so the cotton from the cottonwood trees was everywhere and made the kids allergies go crazy. The park, pool,…

Keep Going Up the Road

The initial campground was definitely an RV only type of place as there was no coverage to take care of business.

But if you keep going up the road there are more than a few turnouts worth staying at for those of us with tents.

We found a decently sized one roughly 4 and a half miles up the…

Closed

Was unable to get in, this whole area was under closure. No for sure for how long. It wasn't a normal seasonal closure. Cuz all the areas around it are opened.

Large Parking Area

This entry is spelled incorrectly—It is Soldier Pass. We were just looking for a place to park our RV while we visited our daughter in Eagle Mountain. There was plenty of room. There were a number of trucks with flatbed trailers that I assume transported ORV’s.

  • Our 5th wheel —lots of space
  • Sign to Soldier Pass and shooting range
  • Beautiful view of Utah Lake and Mt. Timpanogas

Open spaces

Easy to find and accessible. There is a sign on the highway Sheep Creek. This is open range so you might see some cattle. I am sure you will see some cow patties so watch your step. As you come up the road you will cross a cattle guard continue up hill and you will turn left shortly. There are…

Yuba Lake North Beach

Arrived on Thursday evening to a completely open beach. A few others pulled in later but parked 100 yards away. Friday evening filled in more but still well spaced. Plenty of space at this location. Was able to paddle board on lake. TMobile 2 bars. Wind picked up Saturday with gusts up to 40MPH.…

Good option

This is a good option for camping if you want a body of water but it's still winter or spring. Very busy with RVs but there is dispersed camping behind the resivoir. Good views. Good vibes.

Great camping

My friends and I go here every year to go camping! It's a fantastic place to go and explore old mines and great views! Just bring your side by sides and/or four wheelers or what ever toy you got to go off reading and go see all the crazy sites! Nice thing to is its right next to the sand dunes as…

Keep on going and don’t stop!

I stayed here a while ago. It is too noisy with the highways and cars passing by on the roads. People do block you in here, due to not enough parking. Spaces are limited and too small! A big camper or even an RV is not comfortable and can barely fit with another camper/rv on the side of it. I…

Gorgeous view

There is the dispersed camping right when you turn in, however if you keep going up the mountain there is a super small turn off to the right then brings you up a little hill and there’s a few more sites I would have missed if I want so nosey. The view is amazing but the sites up here have so much…

Satisfactory

I tent camped here in Aug. 2020. It was fine. Close to the interstate, for better or worse. I wanted to camp at the SLC KOA but it was closed to tents then.

Full amenities, clean, friendly

I was an off season guest at this RV park in February. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the park including the restroom and campsites, and the amenities; market, water, electricity and Wi-Fi.

This is not the campsite you go to to be alone in nature, as…

  • Provo Jordan River Trail behind the park
  • A big oil company sign collection decorates area businesses by the RV park.
  • Horse and dairy farms along the trail behind the RV park.
