Leeds Canyon Dispersed #4

The site is bare bones but it was perfect for our pop up camper. It’s a wrap around site so we could easily pull through. There’s an established camp fire spot and the views are are incredible! The first three sites were empty so there were plenty of options when we came and it was nice and quiet.

Pretty and secluded. We got in late last night (1am) and had to drive pretty deep in to find a site. I’ve camped here several times en route to Colorado and it’s always a good choice. Clean (like no trash at all that I saw) and quiet. We ended up by a little stream that made for a nice way to fall asleep.

We arrived after dark. Sites were well marked and defined. #4 is large - enough for several vehicles and tents. Just off the road, but secluded enough to feel private. Site is nestled into the side of the hill. A previous happy camper left a ready pile of sticks for the fire - so awesome- especially considering our late arrival. We made sure to replenish the pile. The star gazing is incredible. Gorgeous sunrise over the valley- Beautiful treat to wake up to.

After driving through the desert all day I was glad to find this campsite wich offered a tiny bit of shade. The others I was going past didn't. No facilities, but a very nice view. It is right off the road, so there was quite a bit of traffic in the evening and early in the morning. Didn't notice any while I was sleeping however.

Just off the road, west of Leeds. This site is just off the Oak Grove road, we were worried about fast vehicle traffic, but the road has so many turns it slowed everyone down. The weather was great

Leeds Canyon Dispersed camp sites are on the Dixie NF. Lower dispersed sites 1-6 are easiest to get into with a TT. Camp in designated spots, camping free for 16 days. No water, no trash, no toilets. Sites are along a well maintained FS gravel road so dust may be a concern. Only a few miles outside of Leeds and Interstate 15.

Dispersed camp #4 is a long pull thru good for TTs.
