Dixie National Forest's FR 032 corridor holds this free, drive-in dispersed site set within a forested stretch near a creek. No fee, no hookups. Campers exploring campgrounds around Dixie National Forest will find this one among several low-infrastructure options along the road, including the nearby Oak Grove Campground roughly a mile up the route. Managed by the US Forest Service, the site suits campers comfortable with minimal facilities and self-sufficient setups.
Description
Many people enjoy the solitude and primitive experience of camping away from developed campgrounds and other campers. Dispersed camping is the term used for camping anywhere in the National Forest OUTSIDE of a developed campground. Dispersed camping is free, therefore no services or facilities are provided; such as trash removal, tables, and fire pits.
In the Leeds Creek Kiln Trail area and along Forest Service Roads 031 and 032 dispersed camping is limited to designated sites only.
