Within Sawtooth National Forest, Pettit Campground operates as a US Forest Service facility southeast of Twin Falls. The campground features a handful of first-come, first-serve sites with standard Forest Service amenities. A two-mile loop trail begins directly at the campground, providing immediate hiking access for campers.
Pets are not permitted at this location, making it distinct from many other camping spots around Sawtooth National Forest. The drive-in access allows for standard vehicle camping, and the established campground status means basic infrastructure is in place for overnight stays.
