Wonderful rv Park

Fantastic place, nice little store, beautiful sunrise makes you ready for day of Adventures. Nice level gravel spots

This camp ground has it all!

Very nice campground pool, playground, and games for all ages. Laundry and cable too! This place is Close to everything you’ll want to do in Chattanooga Tennessee

Great Campground with Cavern on the property

Very well maintained campground. Offers full hookups with cable and wifi included. Discounted tickets to tour the beautiful Crystal Cave available to guests. Large laundry facilities and many games are also available to guests.

Definitely Going Back!!

This was a GREAT campground! The moment we drove up a golf cart met us at our truck. The gentleman asked our name and retrieved our check-in package then led us to our spot. We never had to get out of our truck until our camper was in it's spot. They pick up trash from your spot twice a day. The grounds are very well maintained. We stayed in spot 201. That spot had great Wifi! The roads and spot were gravel but there is a slab with the picnic table on it. All the employees were GREAT! Many dogs camping and they have a fenced in dog area. The Raccoon Mountain Cave was one of the highlights of our trip! One negative is the spaces are close together but that didn't effect our spot because 201 is on the end. Can't wait to go back one day!

Cant say enough good things about this place

Racoon Mountain Campground is so awesome. One of my absolute favorite places to hang out for a week. Awesome view of Lookout Mountain. All the amenities you need with full hookups and wifi. Great dog park. Nice campstore. Lots of fun things to do nearby Chattanooga

Really pretty grounds

We loved the shade trees. The staff are so attentive, they are very accessible and are present all day into the evening without being intrusive. They ensure you get to your site and are satisfied. The only “down” part of our stay was our site. For us, being next to the pool and playground was not as preferred as it would be for others. We don’t have kids and the place has lots of kids running strong doing what kids do. Our site would have been better for those with kids. With Covid, the playground is closed, however that didn’t stop summer of the kids. Kind of tough time to enforce and they are having a good time. So, not really negative, just a preference for us.

Great staff

Great helpful office staff and maintenance They drove around much of the day and were readily available if anything was needed Not much to do but grounds very close to ruby falls which was awesome.

Quiet little campground

Staff were awesome , helping us turn our 2 sites into buddy sites. Small little stop off because not a ton to do on site except cave that is a hidden gem

Labor Day Weekend...

We visited Labor Day weekend 2019, escaping from a hurricane. Apparently, a LOT of other people had the same thought and the staff said they had people checking in until after midnight. Despite this, they were nothing but accommodating every step of the way. We were led to our site, the staff offered to help me back in, and gave us a brief rundown of planned events for the weekend. They had multiple playgrounds, pool, water slide, and movies each night with free popcorn and drinks/sno-cones. They had a small general store that even sold alcohol (though at prices you’d expect lol), and the cave tour was fantastic. There was no shortage of activities for the kids, we stayed busy the entire time. There are also several friendly cats around the property (ya either love them or ya hate them… we loved them!)

Cons would be that there’s only one bath house. Luckily it was right by the tent/pop up section (as a matter of fact, we were the site right next to it… which led to people cutting through our site to get to the bathroom since there was no clearly marked path to it). The sites are also REALLY close together (our fire ring was about 2 feet from the neighbor’s sewer hose…). Reservations aren’t site specific, but they are site “type” specific.

Beautiful view

Nice employees
