Reservations are available at this drive-in campground in Whiteside, Tennessee, which runs $25 per night and allows pets. Sites are wooded with decent spacing between them, and the campground rarely fills up, making it a workable last-minute option. Facilities include clean restrooms and hot showers. One consistent note across reviews: a rail line runs within a couple hundred yards of the sites, and trains blow their horns as they pass, which can disrupt sleep. A creek runs through the property. Campers exploring the area can find places to camp near Whiteside if they need alternatives. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
Description
Running Water Creek Campground is fully off grid! Powered almost exclusively by solar and wind energy, we know the importance of renewable energy sources. We also have a solar well pump system for the bath house along with one of our future Airbnb cabins having a rainwater catchment system.
