Great Military Base Park

Can’t say enough about this park. 56 full hook up spaces and two tent camping spots. Very clean and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend and will go back again soon. Has on site shower and laundry facilities.

Best military campground so far

We were lucky to get a campsite for five days. Our site (48) is waterfront with a great view of the bay. The staff is helpful, the sites are wide, level and clean. We lived on Coronado for many years and are thrilled to be able to stay here.

Stuffy Hosts

Been coming here for ten years. We aren’t coming anymore for multiple reasons. Obvious change in management has poor customer service , unfriendly, too many new rules. Property is beautiful, clean and roomy. Unfortunately, it is not family friendly anymore and guests are not allowed to visit anymore. The boat rentals has been closed for 3 years running. It seems they are trying to make it a 55+ tv park and cater less to families with children. Too bad, it used to be a fun place for families.

Directions

From Interstate 8 and 163: Merge onto Interstate 5 South. Then merge onto CA-75 South toward Coronado (i.e. cross the Coronado Bridge). Turn left onto Orange Avenue and continue to follow CA-75 South. The Fiddler’s Cove Marina & RV Park is the first exit south of the Naval Amphibious Base. From Interstate 15: Merge onto Interstate 5 North. Then merge onto CA-75 South toward Coronado (i.e. cross the Coronado Bridge). Turn left onto Orange Avenue and continue to follow CA-75 South. The Fiddler’s Cove Marina & RV Park is the first exit south of the Naval Amphibious Base.
