Cedron Creek Park

Cedron Creek park set off Lake Whitney , outside of Whitney , TX . We had lot 27 , the back of the loop. Kinda secluded. Threw out corn and the deer come in and feed along with squirrels . There are other really nice lots to camp at , on the other loops . I will be going back again really enjoyed…

Good first camping experience

Restrooms/showers were ok. Some sites are a little close together and not many are close to water.

Directions

From I-35 in Hillsboro, take HWY 22 west, continue 12 miles to Whitney. At Whitney, take HWY 933 north for 3 miles, turn left on FM 1713 and cross the bridge, over the lake. Cedron is the first road on the left. Follow signs into the campground.
