Private campground south of Amarillo Texas. Near Palo Duro Canyon.

We stayed for 2 nights. This is a newer park. There was no evidence that anyone cleaned the bathroom or laundry room during that time. The trash was overflowing in both rooms. The shower was not clean. No one answers when you call the phone number and you can't leave a voice message. Reservations are all on line. The hookups did work well. The laundry washer and dryer worked well and the price was very reasonable. It is on the edge of town so the views are pretty. The place has potential but needs someone to manage it! There are quite a few long term residents there.

Affordable and quiet

Nice quiet location near Amarillo Texas. This campground is set off the main road a bit so it is quieter than the nearby Palo Duro RV Park. It is a simple facility, one bathroom with a shower, laundry facilities, nice level spaces. Surrounding area is pretty nice. Short drive to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Very hands-off, check in was through a tablet in the laundry room. I never did figure out the wifi password. They seem to tailor more toward long-term guests. Would be 3 stars due to one bathroom that was out of order half my stay, no wifi, and basically just a parking lot; but they get an extra star for affordable pricing and quiet location.
