Aguirre Springs

Great spots with great views. Some are smaller than others, but can accommodate up to a 9 person tent in some areas. All spots have a camp fire, covered picnic table, and trash bins near restrooms. Close to hiking trails also.

Easy and beautiful

Easy to find and super pretty with a good amount of spots. I wish I would have spent more time than I did there

Worrrrrth it!

Stayed here for a night with my little dog. We car camped in my Honda Civic and it was perfect.

Very remote for how close it was to Las Cruces (Perfect place to grab supplies before heading up) (Grab everything from water to firewood, this place doesn't supply anything)

Beautiful views, lots of…

  • Drive up to Aguirre Springs
  • Our campsite for the night
  • Parked slightly close to other campers since I was camping alone

Pretty basic

Primitive camping.. no trees or bushes for shade. No water pumps or anything. The cell coverage is ridiculous for overnight sites.. you have to camp in the back of the campground with no coverage.

Nice view!

My first time at a KOA- clean, easily accessible and a bit spendy for what is there.

Not just a stop over

I worked for a few days in Las Cruces and I don't typically stay in developed campgrounds, especially off major interstates. What a treat this place was. I was very impressed at the quality, cleaniness, and care that has gone into maintaining this facility. Very friendly. It's on the list every…

Spectacular Views

This is a spotlessly clean resort with the usual KOA Journey amenities. What’s special here is the VIEWS. Don’t pass up a chance to visit here. Ps. Internet speed is great and streaming is allowed.

Beautiful, Quiet, and a Hell Of A Drive

Go to this campsite. $7 is a steal compared to all the BS in other campsites. Beautiful views and great atmosphere. Facilities are normal for a primitive camp site and there are no RVs which is nice if you’re tired of generators or slow driving. Can have FIRE, there is shade and there are trash…

This is an “ehhhh” type park

Easy access to the road and both I25 and I10. Sites are gravel and semi level. Park manager wasn’t the nicest.

Great Views

We arrived after dark. The road was easily accessible for a car. The site was cleared and ready for a tent. Las Cruces city glow is visible in the distance at night. The stars were out. We heard coyotes at some point in the night. The morning brought a brilliant sunrise over the mountains in the…

Late night stop

Pulled in after dark without a reservation. Luckily there were a few spots left as I couldn’t drive another mile. Easy access from the I-10, park looked really nice, even in the daylight. Great views as the park is on the hilltop. Would use again if passing through.

Great Sunset Views

I found this spot here on The Dyrt as I was just passing through Las Cruces.

It was only about 10 minutes out of town and was easy to find. There were several larger RVs there when I first pulled in, so I was slightly concerned about finding space.

But the road that continues from the first…

Lovely View

The mountains were gorgeous. The campground sits on a hill and you have a great view of Las Cruces with the mountains in the background. Very clean. They are renovating and the improvements look great. Especially the tent camping area. We didn't have tents this time but would stay here with tents.…

Pretty cool spot. You won't be alone but it has great views. 4-5 bars with AT&T.
