Located just outside of Trenton on 15 acres of sloping terrain with a wide creek and additional acreage beyond the Big Oak for exploring.
Beautiful sunsets, a clear view of the night sky, a calming creek and an occasional visiting deer make for a relaxing stay.
The property is in transition as we are in the process of creating manicured groves and open pasture areas for the enjoyment of our farm animals and guests so expect mud when it rains and an occasional heavy equipment or tractor siting.
We have lived here for over 20 years, our residence is across the road from the camping property so we are available if needed. We run a small heard of Brahmas (the cows with the humps and long ears) and raise goats. Our property is managed organically and when the garden is producing will be happy to share the bounty with our guests.
There is no water, electric or wi-fi on property at this time. All lighting is solar or battery powered. Every camper will be supplied clean drinking water and a Port-o-let is onsite near the tent area.

I was just passing through on a road trip and needing a cheap place to spend the night, but this was the kind of park I’d actually come back to and hang out in. The camp sites are spread out and clean. The lake views are beautiful. There are tons of activities like hiking, fishing, or paddle boarding.
RangerI booked here for the FHU sites, but was not overly impressed. The Bois loop pull throughs, although paved, were severely sloped and hard to level. The hiking trails were not that great either. Convenient off 75.

A decent spot to stop. The roads within the park itself could use some serious attention. When you first drive into the park, to the left they are in the process of building an entire new section and it looks nice. I wish they would do some upkeep on the rest of the park as well. It’s first come, first served. The first spot I chose had a bad pedestal, so I had to pick up and choose another spot. I would definitely recommend checking the pedestal before unpacking. There were a ton of spots closed off because of the bad pedestals. There’s a nice walk to Lake Texoma which was nice. Not a lot to do around otherwise. Only 4 washers and 4 dryers for the entire park. Verizon service was good, along with T-Mobile. Even better with my cell booster. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
ScoutI have camped here many times. The park is well maintained and offers beautiful hiking trails and scenery. It is also safe with plenty of staff making rounds to ensure everyone's safety. I have stayed at their pull through camper sites, shelters, as well as tent camping with no complaints. The park is also undergoing construction upgrades and new paved roads ATM but the areas are clearly identified on their website. Definitely a family friendly park with plenty of wildlife to enjoy!

Stayed here 5 nights waiting for our property to be ready. Called into the office like we have every morning and was told"sorry you have to leave we reserved your spot." ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!! Who does this??? No notice, didn't say anything all week. But sure took our money! Poop all over the grass. The dog park is nasty! They give you all the rules, very strick. LOUD, the highway is right here. Unprofessional!!!!! Never again!!!!!

GuideSo this is an ok place to spend a night or two. With Passport America, the price is right. The Tin Cup is a restaurant that's owned by the park and the food is great. The downside is that there's live music on Saturdays. It's loud enough to be annoying but not loud enough to enjoy. It was still playing after 10:30 pm. Not good when you need to get up early in the morning.

This is a nice shady spot with a lot of space for a few tents or an rv. Space has electric and a nice lake view. You do have to walk down the hill and through some sand to get to the beach.

Nice large concrete spaces with plenty of room for a 44’ 5th wheel, tow vehicle and extra vehicle. Office staff was really friendly and helpful. Nice playground for kids and dog park. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is the feeling that we were parked in an RV storage lot rather than a campground. It feels commercialized and may be a fine stop if passing through, but not a place I would go to actually camp.

Well kept, thoughtful hosts, a cute little campstore, an amazing playground for our kids, a beach, golf cart rentals, cabins, and you can easily pull in a giant RV. I highly recommend this campground.

This is a nice campground on the shore of a small man made lake. The lake has a boat ramp and fishing pier. Some of the sites need minor repairs and the some disgusting person made a mess of the men's pit toilet but the a crew cleaned it in the morning. The campground has decent views of the stars especially looking north. The site I chose was close to the lake and relatively level.

I’m an avid camper and hiker but when camping here alone at night (no one else was in the tent camping area), my camp site was accosted by a family of raccoons. They were not friendly and not scared of people at all. Be careful if you have young children. Aside from this, the lake was beautiful, peaceful and serene. Camp sites are unique and right on the water.
GuideWe had such a great time while camping here. The sites were a good size and had lots of shade. We had an amazing view of the lake! We stayed at site 13 on loop B and we were located close to the bath house, which was very convenient. We did not have access to the lake at our site. Our pad was pretty level, not a concrete pad though. The campsites seemed close to each other. Unfortunately I was not able to find a campground map. The beaches were clean and had legit beach sand, which was very nice! This was a great stay, I recommend!

Woken up one morning by park worker mowing near our tent which sprayed our bags with clippings. Not many shade spots so beware if it is hot. Decent stay overall.

Each tent site has a table and fire pit. Lovely views of lake Texoma. Great hiking and rock climbing opportunities. The marina store is a short walk away and you can rent kayaks and canoes!

Stayed in the tent section for $10/night during spring break. Easy reservation process on Recreation.gov. Water and trash were close by. Pit toilets were a bit of a walk. Showers and flush toilets were in the section with hook ups. Mainly RV’s there, some tents, vans, etc. Amazing views of Lake Texoma!!

Might have given 5 stars but both pools are shut down and it's HOT! Lake is accessible- about half a mile down a private road. Interior roads are a bit rough. Mini golf, shuffle board, horse shoes and playgrounds are available.
