We stayed in Bastorp state park in our little teardrop trailer. The folks at the check-in point were very friendly and helpful. The campsite we had full hookups and was well shaded. We spent two days there and took several long hikes. We really enjoyed the changes in elevation, terrain and views.…

This is a great park for families. There is all kinds of activities like biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, a playground, kayak/paddle board rentals, etc. The campground is small for RVs, only about 19 sites and there’s a few with full sewer hookups, the rest with water/electric. The sites on the…

3 friends got away for the day. Small hike down to the river with a cooler of beer. Only a few other throughout the morning but started to get packed after 1pm. Water was clear and cool. Will definitely be back.
Nice little place to go fishing at night. The water is too hot seems to be that way all the time. I can't hear when I was a kid and it hasn't changed much since then they did get a new restroom facility that has showers it would be nice if they expanded campsites a little I caught a couple fish I…
This park is on the Colorado River and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Large, level sites with full hookups. Two large dog parks and walking trails by the pretty river. A great Mexican restaurant is within walking distance from the park.

We camped here for 3 nights with reservations made 151 days prior to arriving. 19 RV sites in the RV camping loop with sites"inside" the loop fairly close to one another. Outside loop sites had nice distance between sites. No vegetation between sites to shield from neighbors. Park headquarters…

This is a great park with lots of trees and some really nice sites. Location is great and staff is friendly and helpful.
Enjoyed a two night stay during COVID era. Many parks closed, believe this state park had restrictions on how many campers could stay overnight. We reserved 2 night online, and arrived just as the friendly ranger was closing for the day. Good location; easy to find off of freeway. Wooded RV sites…
Love this park because of the location. It is clean and spacious with nice bathrooms/showers. Highly recommend.
