I called in for a camping spot late in the evening and the manager said No problem! This campground seems primarily set up for long term camper trailers. I was looking for a tent spot and arrived late in the evening. The host was very welcoming and let me park up near the bathroom. Since I was by myself it worked out great for me. The campground and the bathrooms were clean. Would Definently stop by again .
If I'm in the area again, I will be coming back to the Jetstream RV Resort. We stayed here mid-September- December 2022 and the RV park was formerly known as Advanced RV Resort. There seems to be another Advanced and Jetstream RV Park in the area so make sure you are looking at the correct place. During my stay, the RV Park was going through a big remodel. Any reviews you have read prior to 2023, might not apply anymore. This is the correct website: https://jetstreamrvresortpearland.com/
For starters, it's tight getting into the RV Resort from the main road. You do not want traffic on your butt when you are trying to make the turn in from the road. Then when you get in, it's still tight until you make it to the office to check in. The front of the RV Park is by the toll road, and you can hear the traffic. We were in site 223 in the back, by the city park, and we could barely hear any vehicle noise. We couldn’t hear anything when our AC was running. The front and the back of the RV Park seem to be two different experiences. The area is relatively safe. There is a police officer or two, and a police dog, that live at the RV Park. There was one break-in that we heard about during our stay. The RV Park is off a service road so there isn't any foot traffic on the main road. The city park it cleared out and shut down by the police every night so there aren’t any people roaming around after dark. You can walk right out of the RV Park to the city park through a gate in the back corner. The city park has a 2 mile and 6+ mile walking path. It seems to be the only real place to get out and exercise in the area.
The RV Park staff is great, and the property is well taken care of. During the renovations, they are adding tiny homes, a community fire pit, golf putting green, hanging string lights, kids play area, a new dog washing station, gym, and a beer garden. All of this was in the works during our stay, so we didn’t get to see it completed before leaving. They also have onsite laundry with change machines, bathrooms, clubhouse, propane and pick up your garbage. You are allowed get mail delivered. During our stay, all mail and packages were delivered to the office since they were in the middle of renumbering all the sites. Normally, you go to the office to pick up USPS and all over deliveries go to your RV site. The office doesn’t tell you when mail arrives, you need to track your packages or go check the office.
If you don't have an EZ Pass or RV Toll Pass, you'll want one if you must drive during rush hour. The traffic is THICK and there were accidents almost every day on our way to and from work. The toll pass helped us make it to work on time instead of sitting in a daily traffic jam due to the most recent fender bender or rollover. There are plenty of stores to shop at and they are all very close. Walmart, HEB, Kroger, Sam's Club are all within a few miles. Plus, the area has pretty much every other chain store or restaurant you can think of.

Campground Review
It's incredible that I was born and raised in Houston and have lived here the past four years but haven't made it out to Brazos Bend State Park until now! A quick, 45 minute drive southwest will get you out of the concrete jungle that is the sprawling Space City metropolis and into one of the lushest, greenest parts of Texas. Brazos Bend is a "Nature Lover's Paradise" - there is abundant wildlife. There is great fishing, ample bird watching, and lots and lots of alligators (!). Lots of trails for walking, running, biking, and horseback riding. The George Observatory is a pretty amazing feature of this park (but only open Saturdays).
We arrived at Brazos Bend on a Friday afternoon and were able to walk-in no problem. Walk-in rate is $12/day + the daily park entrance fee ($5 for adults, free for kids). I have a Texas State Parks Pass so we didn't have to pay the entrance fees (saved us $40 for two nights of camping!). Additionally there were several other great options including: Full-Site RV hook-up ($25/night), Standard Camping ($20/night, incl. water & electricity), and 14 Cabins ($80-200/night but have everything you could ever need or want).
We did a lot of nature walks, game playing, and swimming during our two days at Brazos Bend State Park. Summer is probably not the best time to visit any park in Texas - its hot and muggy and the mosquitos are out in full force. Bring your DEET. Seriously. Despite that though, we were very pleasantly surprised by the amenities (swimming pool, screened in picnic tables, fire pits, and tent pads!)
Product Review
As a Ranger for The Dyrt, I get products to test from time to time - this past weekend at Brazos Bend I tested out the Kameng Mid eVent Waterproof Hiking Boot by Mishmi Takin.
These boots have got it all.
First, these boots are hella comfortable! I was blown away how comfortable they were right out of the box. Over the years, I've owned many pairs of hiking boots and they all required a significant break-in period. Not these!
Second, they're waterproof AND breathable. Not water resistant, like actually water proof.
Third, the look great. All 3 color schemes are fantastic I had a tough time choosing between green, grey and orange.
Fourth, so lightweight. These only weigh 1.5lbs so even though they are boots, they won't weigh you down.
5/5 Would Recommend.
I just took my 5 days holiday to enjoy with my family at other location away from our home. So I thought to do some research and come with at 2-3 location so that my kid can choose. Kids choose to go to Bay City, Texas from Midfield. Then I was looking for RV Parks in Bay City For My Rented RV, Then I can to know about 60 North RV Park. After reaching there I see their ground was green and was also providing free cable but we didn’t took that as our goal was to spend time with family. There were more feature like laundry, clean washrooms etc. we played sports and other physical games kids enjoyed very much there. I want to write more here is only limited space, If you are also planning for RV Tours Best rv park near bay city is 60 north rv park. I strongly recommend for your family time[http://RV Park near Markham](http://RV Park near Markham)
Loving life here at E&J Rv Resort. Very family friendly atmosphere with tons of amenities
Great for adults, not really anywhere for little kids to play besides the pool but this is a really cool RV resort in downtown Houston and I would definitely recommend it. It is directly off of the highway so don’t except quite 🙂
I wanted to make a two day reservation for a business trip. The park has good reviews so I thought I would stay as it is close to my event.
The online system would not work so I called and found they are for long term only.
I am disappointed and did not see long term only on the website when I was researching parks.
I recently stayed at Highway 6 RV Resort and I have nothing to say about my experience other than good. The property managers, the administration had been incredibly hospitable and made sure that my continue to be was comfortable and pleasant. The caravan parks have been spacious and well maintained, and the facilities furnished were first-class. The sparkling pool used to be a great way to cool off on a hot day, and the laptop room and exercise equipment made it convenient to stay connected and lead an energetic lifestyle away from home. The location was also a big plus, thanks to easy access to everything Houston has to offer. The nearby West Oaks Mall and SugarLand Skeeters Stadium offered a variety of entertainment options, and the proximity to major highways made it easy to get around the city. Overall, I relatively recommend Highway 6 RV Resort and will definitely remain here again! Thanks to my company Andersen for a wonderful vacation, it was a great vacation with colleagues and we had a lot of fun!
If I were just reviewing this area for the fishing, it would get 5 stars. You can catch such an interesting variety of fish (see photos). The main downside of the campground is how tightly packed the sites are next to each other. If you're planning an overnight fishing trip during weekdays though, then naturally it's less crowded.
Facilities include: full RV hookups, bathrooms, showers, washer/dryer, wifi.
Great park! More long term tenants than over nighters. But still a good park. Quiet and kid friendly. The new owners are working on improving the appearance, as the previous ones left a bit to be desired.
Ashley here with The Dyrt. We're happy to welcome this Resort that offers 72 RV Sites to choose from. Full hook-ups available. Check them out and leave them some love!
Has everything I need for a long term stay. Computer room, exercise equipment, showers, laundry. The grounds are well kept. Outdoor kitchens for use. The pool is small and not deep but is still enjoyable. Pretty lakes with fish. A shuttle to the hospitals. It’s right off the highway. Nothing within walking distance though except the convenience store.
The park is VERY clean and also quiet! It’s close to everything so thats a major plus. However it does have A LOT of rules. Also, a lot of long term residents live here. The back in spots are a little tight so if you’re not great at backing in just get a pull through. The facilities are immaculate . It’s been worth the price so far.
Stayed there for 3 months. Campground is divided into 3 sections divided by a fence. Adult only section. Park is well maintained and staff is friendly. 3pools. Fishing dock. Lots of full timers here. No fenced dog area. The location in Kemah is walking distance to several good restaurants and musical entertainment. Across the street is Clear Lake Shores. A bayside community with boats. They also are big into golf carts. See the sunset over the bay. Kemah boardwalk is a short drive down the street. Location is best part of here. The office charges you for mail/package delivery which I don’t like. Typical RV resort amenities. Community room with kitchen, showers, laundry, workout room. (Equipment needs some maintenance).
This campground could def use some TLC, but the ladies at the front are super sweet. We stayed 4 nights in a back in with full hook ups. There had been tons of rain. The camper was on a paved pad, but the surrounding areas were very muddy. It close to the interstate and very quiet.
We stayed here for a week in early March 2019. The park is a bit on the dumpy side. They have some full-time residents with a few questionable practices. To each their own, but it makes the campground look trashy in spots. However, the campground was very quiet and very cheap. Full-hookup with free 3 mbps Wifi (faster speeds are paid) and cable. It was $154 for the week. We didn’t try the cable since we were only there a week. We did not use the Wifi either as our internet hotpot connection with AT&T and Verizon was excellent. They also have a laundry room with machines that accept credit card. The manager, Donna, was very nice. She made sure we had what we needed and that we understood the rules of the park. It was around 40 minutes or so to the things we wanted to do in downtown Houston which was great. It met our expectations as a non-frill RV park. Overall, we would stay here again due to the cost and the easy access to downtown Houston.
This park is about 7 miles from Bay City and is between the Colorado River and Hossey Slough. There are two camping loops. The Wilderness loop has electricity and water on the Hossey Slough and is accessed on a gravel road and the sites are also gravel. It has a very rustic feel and is beautiful. The only downside is the showers and bathroom are about a quarter mile away at the office. The bathrooms are older, but spacious and clean. The other loop is on the Colorado River and has full hook-ups. The sites are very close together. We were here on a February weekend and there was only one other camper in the Wilderness loop. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a newer campground and we were pleased with our stay there. The welcome building, bathrooms/showers and gym are all brand new and updated with modern design. There is coffee available for free to guests in the rec room, which is a nice place to relax. There is a fully stocked pond for fishing and a gas fireplace pit to sit around in the evenings. The sites come with full hook ups, but are slightly uneven. There was a busy road behind us that could be loud at times, but other than that we were quite happy with the park. Would recommend!
I was here to stay for 3 days due to some work. This was a park close to my work location. So I choose this RV Park. I don't regret my decision. As I was a good decision to stay. Free wifi, Clean Washroom that very important. Good environment.
Keep it Happy Camp RV Park
RV park has everything one can imagine needing in a resort! Plenty of space in each spot
We were really late coming in because of our Navi taking us (and our RV) through downtown Houston!! Before we caught on it was too late. Maria is awesome! She answered the phone (it was well past working hours) when no other rv park in Freeport or Galveston would answer their phones! She waited on us even though we were much later than we told her we would be! Maria and her Husband gave us a great spot last minute and helped us (it was our first time at an RV park) Thank you so much Maria we weren’t expecting you and your establishment to be so wonderful! The location is great less than 2 miles from the coast and a beautiful little stream that runs by the rv park! Some really bomb restrooms that have beautifully tiled showers! OMG I can’t wait to go back also wonderful eating at a spot right down the road half a block from the smallest buckees you’ve ever seen I can’t remember the name (outdoor eatery Mexican cuisine) THE BEST!
Whether you're a business traveler or a nature enthusiast, Alexsandra RV Park offers the perfect combination of convenience and tranquility. geometry dash world is a great game to relax after a long day.
This is one of the nicest rv parks in the county. They have on-site washers and dryers, a pool, dog wash, pond, golf carts, free air for your tires, connections and gates for your security.
This RV park resides in the middle of industrial businesses. Not many know it is there. The area around is not the greatest, but you cannot beat the prices. Have stayed over a year and a half.
extremely welcoming owner and staff . After trying 3 other rv parks and getting frustrated we got a warm welcome here. Pet and Kid friendly . Had treats for the kids and the dog . Lots of grassy land to run on . Dog loved since most places has lots of rocks .
Full hookups with 30 amps. Semi circle drive thru that fit my 44 ft motorhome and towed Jeep. Deer all over and saw a 6 point buck. Very dark with no lighting. We arrived around midnight and was a little difficult finding our spot. Fire pit and plenty of room.
