$12 a year to camp on a beautiful and clean beach any time I want? Yes please! Just spent the weekend on the beach at Access Road 1A. Wasn’t over crowded and the beach was well maintained. Wind and rain rocked us to sleep in the RV and woke up to a cool breeze with clear sunny skies. Setting up the…
State park offers a lot of space. Full hookup sites available. Mosquitos were brutal, so take lots of mosquito repellent. We loved that you can rent kayaks and paddle boards for the lake and you can even buy firewood there.
Historic Texas and Mexican sites within a quaint little park.
The previous reviewer is correct about the airport noise.
Our RV site was a back-in with plenty of room on a concrete pad with a picnic table. We were in the back row.
Our site did not have trees hanging over like a lot of sites (we have solar panels).

The camp area is very clean and organized. Is next to a busy road and we heard traffic all night.
Not bad. Basic. Good hookups, unlevel.
It is a great spot for anyone wanted to fish with a HUGE pier. The sites were well groomed. We were on Live Oak Circle with a nice view of the fields. One thing I’d say is BRING STUFF FOR MOSQUITOES. One bottle of bug spray won’t work. Bring more. There is a Walmart in Fulton if you underestimate.…

It is a Airport near here, and they take off every 3 to 5 minutes ! If that is not enough, than you have the major Hiway next to you ! But hey, what you expect for $ 20 ? Cause that much you pay with Pasport A.erica ?... The Staf, is very friendly.

We were in site 23 for 3 days. The sites were level, but are oddly arranged in pairs, sharing a wide pad, with the utilities in the middle, which puts them on the wrong side for one of the RVs, though most RVs wouldn’t have an issue reaching them. It also puts that sites covered picnic table on the…
We were in site 8 for 4 days. Sites are first come, first served and spacing varied from fairly well spaced to somewhat close, but appeared to all be fairly level. The beach side campsites were asphalt surrounded by grass and these filled up first. The campsites on the opposite side were basically…
Early spring 21 just went and had a blast. Fairly packed now that the state opened up fully. Over all though that time was perfect weather for kayaking and hiking the short trails that this park has. Tent camping is great and the spots are well payed out with plenty of space between them. Shower…
Beautiful sandy beach in an unspoiled, undeveloped natural area. The campground is essentially a big parking lot, no privacy, no trees.
We camped in the RV area, which has electrical hook ups and water but you have to drive to the dump station. There are nearby bathrooms which are newly renovated and nice, although occasionally people using them to clean off from visiting the beach will make a big mess. Not just sand, but swim…

Well maintained park, close to Presidio and Goliad downtown. Nice bike trail and paddle destination.
