## Overview

Pat Mayse West Campground is on the banks of its namesake lake in the Red River Basin in Lamar County, Texas. Easy access to developed park areas has made the lake a haven for families who enjoy camping, picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing and other outdoor recreation. 

## Recreation

The lake provides excellent opportunities for boating, swimming, and fishing. Anglers will find largemouth bass, white crappie, sunfish, striped bass and channel and flathead catfish, among other species.  
  
Hunting is a very popular activity in the area. The surrounding lands are managed for upland game and whitetail deer. Other species present include fox squirrel, gray squirrel, bobwhite quail, mourning dove, cottontail rabbit, raccoon and fox. Opossum, beaver, mink, skunk and nutria are also present.  
  
The lake also provides resting and feeding habitats for migratory waterfowl. A few miles north of the project area are the famed Red River Bottoms where waterfowl congregate in impressive numbers.

## Facilities

This year-round campground offers 88 sites, 83 of which have electric hookups. Amenities include flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station and boat ramp.

Pat Mayse Lake covers almost 6,000 acres and has 67 miles of shoreline. It is situated among gently rolling grasslands and mixed hardwood forests studded with mature pines. Wildlife is abundant in the surrounding area.

Lake Bonham Recreation Area

Bois d’Arc RV Park is comprised of 96 RV sites with 47 pull-throughs and 49 back ins.  All sites are full hookup that are nicely leveled with neatly maintained grounds. 

Located just minutes from downtown Bonham, only 30 minutes from Sherman, 45 min from Paris and McKinney.  Our quiet setting with lots of trees and natural landscaping provides a premiere RV living experience.  We are close to the city, but you enjoy the country.  We are conveniently located near Hwy 121 and Hwy 82 for easy access.



Bois D’Ark RV Park 

## Overview

Kiamichi Park Campground is a large, grassy campground in a forested expanse of southeast Oklahoma. The camp is perched along the banks of Hugo Lake, providing guests with plenty of recreational opportunities.

## Recreation

There are always fish to be caught at Hugo Lake. From early sand bass and slab crappie to late season fall bass, anglers will always find opportunities. Hugo Lake also provides excellent catfishing during the summer.  
  
The lake area offers plenty of hunting opportunities, with over 25,000 acres of land available. Bow hunting is permitted in and around most of the park areas. Kiamichi Park features an archery practice range and a 3,000-acre Quality Deer Management Area.  
  
Wildlife around the lake includes waterfowl, bobwhite quail, dove, whitetail deer, mink, fox and beaver.  
  
This large park and it's miles of paved roads are ideal for biking, jogging, hiking, and sight-seeing. There are also wooded trails for exploring and horseback riding. Equestrian trail riding is accessible for dayriding from Bobcat Road or Raccoon Road. Equestrian camping is available on Raccoon Road, which offers thirteen horse stalls.

## Facilities

Kiamichi Park Campground features 85 spacious, modern campsites. There is a group camping loop which offers 11 camping sites and a shelter with tables and grills. Two large day use group picnic shelters are available for reservation. A playground and swimming beach make this park perfect for large parties, youth trips or family functions.

## Natural Features

Hugo Lake dam is located on the Kiamichi River, 18 river miles upstream from its confluence with the Red River. The dam, completed in 1974, provides flood control, water supply and fish and wildlife management for nearby communities. It also provides a recreational oasis for outdoor enthusiasts of all types.
