About

Now accepting campers for the 2024 eclipse!!! Hurry before they're gone!

This private environmental conservation ranch is opening it's gates to the public for the first time.

Nestled in the heart of Central Texas, our Blanco Texas campground is a haven for nature lovers and conservation enthusiasts alike. Immerse yourself in the serene surroundings of our lush tall grass prairies, where native wildlife thrives amidst the majestic oak trees. Explore our one of a kind unparalleled Rare Oak Tree Collection that was curated and collected by a Texas botonist and biochemist which includes, the distinctive Plateau Live Oak, the late-blooming and thought to be extinct Lateleaf Oak, and the unique Blackjack Oak, as well as many one of a kind hybrids. Our beautiful camping areas are situated under majestic heritage oaks and centered around a large meadow. Discover the beauty of the hill country by observing rare endangered golden checked warblers, painted buntings and other birds. This is a bird watchers dream come true. Our pristine property is manicured and lovingly cared for by Dr. Billie Carroll, a retired biologist, botonist, and native Texan who has taken care of the plants and animals of Texas. He is delighted to lead you on a tour of the property and is brimming with knowledge of native grasses, trees, oaks, Texas history and much more. His life work and mission to bring back the tall grass praries of the Texas hillcountry cannot be paralleled and this campground is testimony to the beauty of Texas. Also less than a five minute drive is the historic town of Blanco with many shops, restaurants, and activities including Blanco river state park. Another local attraction is the Blanco Lavender Farm located right next door!

With

Adjacent to our pristine grounds, the famous Blanco Lavender Farm offers fragrant lavender fields to enchant your senses. After a day of exploration, gaze upon the star-studded night sky in our Dark Sky-certified location, making stargazing an awe-inspiring experience.
