Lake views are the best

Stayed for 5 days on a lakeside site- it was beautiful, mostly clean (goose droppings), and pretty spacious! Still a new campground next to an established marina. Some construction is still going. They are adding more sites and a small pool to the existing amenities like a beach, a hammock pergola,…

This campground is in tellico plains

I went to visit this campground today. So I called the number and this campground is actually in tellico plains Tennessee. There is no campground at this location. So please please do not make the trip out there.

Amazing primitive sites!

We love the primitive sites at Nathan Bedford Forest! Each site is along the River banks, so you get the best views! Fire pits and picnic tables included. The bathhouse is very old though and does not have a shower. That is the only reason I couldn’t give this one 5 stars!

Great Night Sleep

Great December sleep in go as we headed south. Clean campground and beautiful scenery...will return outside winter season.

Great Camping for all types of campers

I’ve used my hammock in their “hammocks only” sites and I’ve done the hike-in backcountry sites and love this place. As a resident of the Franklin area, it’s super close to get away for the weekend.

An Owl, a hawk and beautiful trees!

Quiet stop only one night. Everything worked and no drama! Beautiful trees! 🍁Live owl named “Cotton” and hawk named “Buddy” on exhibit there. Cute little store on grounds.

Beautiful but not with kids

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids age 11 and 12) stayed on the East Loop for a few fall nights. We opted for the deluxe sites inside the loop rather than on the lake after reading reviews about the mosquitos.

The Good:

  • The resort grounds are new with level concrete pads.
  • Excellent WIFI…

Beautiful and new, be prepared for mosquitos

Pros -

  1. The site itself looks brand new. Everything is up to date, and there were no issues at all.

  2. Pictures don’t do it justice, there plenty of nature here to enjoy the outdoors!

  3. The site we stayed at was very level.

Cons -

  1. Staff policies are strictly enforced. Make sure…

Nashville’s best-kept secret

I’m hesitant to write this review because this is our new close-to-home GO-TO camping spot and we don’t want it to get booked up. 😆 It is new, quiet, and extremely well-priced. Our lakeside spot was $60 per night. Our other lake resort stays in this area have been at least double that! There is a…

Excellent S.P. Campground within an easy drive to Nashville

We stayed at this campground recently and because the wifi coverage and speed was so good was actually able to "work from home" here.  We were on site 18 and it was very level, paved and double wide. Parking was easy and it accommodated the 38' RV and a SUV. The sites all seem to be well shaded and…

Well kept

The tent sites were well kept. They are gravel pads with a grill and fire ring. They are right on the water with easy access to put in a kayak. And close to a boat ramp if bringing a boat. It’s shaded. The bath house is a bit of a walk and they have restrooms only, no showers.
