Sites are gravel so they are not perfectly level. RV sites have a concrete pad and a fire ring and most have a picnic table. Bath houses are nice and kept clean. Best price in the area hands down. The camp store is connected to a convenience store and gas station. Fast food close by, and cheap propane fill ups just down the street. We've stayed here a couple of times and will be back. Some sites are not very long and some are not very wide. We usually stay close to the rear of the park - a lot quieter. Very friendly staff!
Great campground, store, pool and shuttle to nearby attractions. We had a water/electric site. Pretty level, near a stream. Bugs weren’t bad at all. They had clean bath houses and fun activities.
This is a family run campground. All the employees we encountered were super nice and accommodating. They have a gas station, convenience store, grill and car wash all right close by the office. There is free BINGO on Friday nights with some nice prizes. The bathrooms were nice, clean and cool and the individual shower setup with locking doors was nice. We had some outlet issues, and the traffic on the nearby road was constant. Between a hot pop up, light and noise pollution sleep was in short supply. The location was convenient to The Island and other attractions in and around Pigeon Forge. The on site lazy river was a great way to cool off and relax.
As a Ranger for The Dyrt, I get products to test from time to time. This time I got to try the Midland ER310 Emergency Crank Radio E+Ready. I love this radio! It is light, rechargeable, can be used as a charging station, has a flashlight, and picks up great. It is an emergency crank radio, and can be solar charged, so it is useful and purposeful. We enjoyed listening to music at the lazy river and at the campsite to help plan outdoor activities accordingly. You can check them out at www.midlandusa.com
This camp has plenty of amenities available. There is a centrally located pool with a cookout and music on the weekends! However, the pool did become pretty crowded. There is a smaller pool behind the entrance with less crowd. There is also a small lazy river where tubes were provided! The playground is in great condition and has a jumping pad! This park has cabins and park models available to rent as well as plenty of RV spaces. We were in a tent site which was limited in space. We were not provided a fire ring or table. The tents were very close and there is a bank where he had to line up candles at night to avoid falling over! The camp store was in site but did close earlier than our liking. It is not a bad spot if you are looking to be right near the main attractions in pigeon forge! Everything is just a short drive away! However there is not much privacy or seclusion from other campers. The neighbors even moved there table over our tent ties because they didn’t have enough space on their own site.
I really enjoyed this campground. It had a-lot of things for the kids including 2 pools, a small lazy river and a bounce pillow. It had a trolley stop in the middle of the campground that would take you to Pigeon Forge or Gatlingurg for 50 cents. The bath house was very clean and had doors rather than curtains which were a big plus. Its a half mile from Pigeon Forge so its easily walked. The only bad thing is that the camp sites are very close together, some literally a few feet from others.
We stayed here for a few days to enjoy the Smokey Mountains on our way to Myrtle Beach. It was a fun campground. The pools were nice but spread out a bit more than we would of liked. The main pool could of been cleaner and was kind of small for the amount of people staying at the park. The Lazy river was our kids favorite. We had ducks visit our site daily and the kids even named them! We loved that personally. :-) We camped toward the back along the creek, I was kind of nervous at first but it wasn’t a bad walk to the rest of the park.
