Over=priced Mud Pit

Pre-paid for a one month stay, $750, which turned out to be $200 more than some very nice campgrounds in the area. Stayed one day after sitting in mud. Owners not interested in spending $ to keep the place in good shape. Opened to Campers on April 1st, even though the shower/laundry facility was not open.

Convenient location

Cash only Rv campground. Only one washer/drier on honor system. It is located close to all services in rapid city SD. We came here to cleanup after 4 nights of Boondocking. Okay place to stay. Owner is really nice and accommodating.

Centrally located Park near Rapid City, SD

Typically a full park with people staying the summer seasonal months. The park is located in a rural setting with deer and bluebirds nearby your campsite. Across the road is a small herd of long horned cattle.

Many attractions are close by: Rapid City, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Deadwood, Sturgis, Custer State Park, Blackhorse, Badlands.

Please use coordinates or follow the written directions: From I-90 exit 55: go 3 miles N on Deadwood Ave to Erickson Ranch Rd. Turn R and proceed 3.3 miles. From I-90 exit 52: go 1.2 miles E on Peaceful Pines Rd. Turn L onto Erickson Ranch Rd and proceed 3.3 miles. From I-90 exit 46: go 5 miles E on Elk Creek Rd. Turn R on Erickson Ranch Rd and proceed 2 miles.
