Managed by the Bureau of Land Management within its South Dakota Field Office, this established campground outside Sturgis accommodates rigs up to 45 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. Two trailheads serve the area: Fort Meade and Alkali Creek. Trails are not well marked, which limits solo navigation. The horse camp near Alkali Creek draws flies. Campers who want a different setup can check Vanocker Campground RV Park to the southwest.
