Sun Valley Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Sun Valley Campground in Narvon, Pennsylvania, an Encore RV Resort operating April 1 through November 1 with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. The campground runs on a drive-in access model and provides drinking water, showers, a dump station, laundry facilities, and WiFi across its multiple loops. It's a large property, and the layout reflects that scale.

A significant portion of the sites are occupied by seasonal campers who keep their rigs here year-round, which shapes the atmosphere considerably. Transient visitors are typically placed among the seasonals, and reviewers note that neighbors are quick to offer help with tricky site approaches. Loop 700, situated on a hill with mature trees, is one of the newer sections and tends to be well-maintained. Cell coverage has come up in multiple reviews as inconsistent, with one visitor logging only two bars of LTE on T-Mobile, so campers who rely on mobile data should plan accordingly.

The pool is a frequently mentioned draw, and the bathrooms and showers have earned consistent praise for cleanliness. A camp store is on-site, though at least one reviewer found it sparsely stocked. Lori notes the "outer ring of area had unoccupied trailers, but they were well kept and cute," which gives a sense of the settled, residential character of parts of the property. Nearby alternatives include Oak Creek Campground and Adventure Bound Camping Resorts Oak Creek for campers comparing options in the area. Book early for summer weekends, as the seasonal-heavy layout limits the number of transient sites available.

My Happy Place

My wife and I have been seasonal camper for 4 years and love it. We had visited numerous campgrounds and found Sun Valley to be the atmosphere there beyond our expectations. The minute you walk into the office you get that" aha" moment. The office greets you with a smile and " Welcome to Sun Valley, how can I help you ". That alone told us these folks are here to make your stay enjoyable. They go above and beyond any campground we have ever been to. The activities go above and beyond. The Saturday night bands are concert worthy. We have enjoyed our stay more than you ever imagined. For the past 4 years it has been our "Happy Place"

So nice, stayed an extra day!

Very large park. Showed up on Wednesday, and was assigned a spot in loop 700 up on a hill in the center of a ring of trailers, past a lot of full-timers. Cable does not work. No internet. 2 bars LTE on T-Mobile. We stayed in loop 700 - very nice, new and well-maintained area with mature trees and lovely fall colors. It appears locals keep their rigs here and use the area as vacation homes... outer ring of area had unoccupied trailers, but they were well kept and cute. Stayed over Thursday night as well. Laundromat with 5 washers/dryers. Coin machine empty, but they had change at check-in building. They have showers, but we didn’t check them out. Peaceful park.

Friendly!

By far, the friendliest campground we have visited!  Most of the sites are seasonal and we were placed amongst the seasonals.  We immediately had multiple people offer insight as to how best approach the site.  Our particular site was a bear to park in but once situated we were very happy.

The store is closed due to covid but the pool is open.  There was a Leibys ice cream truck and food stand open the whole weekend.  There were also planned activities for children and adults.

Nice Campground!

Weekend stay here and instead of leaving on Sunday, we booked another day. Great swimming pool, immaculately clean bathrooms and showers. Well wooded campground with friendly staff and guests. The only minor complaint is that the camp store was sparsely supplied. B+ little gem of a campground.
