The campground is well kept, the bathrooms are clean (a bit of a walk from this cabin), and the pool is inviting. Being tall, the bunkbeds were a challenge, so maybe have the kids stay in this one. Very close to Cook County State Park and Allegheny National Forest for fantastic hiking. Cell phone…
Was there a few months ago. I love this area. Cook Forest is about 10-11 miles from Clarion, PA where I attend college. The state park is one of the most popular in the state, I think. The Clarion River provides lots of water activities, etc. and there is lots of hikes to do including a walk to the…
We tent camped at site 76. Secluded and beautiful. We had the whole side of the upper loop to ourselves! Bumped up against the nature trail for a quick hike. We fished at the small section opposite the swimming area. We were alone the entire time! This park is well kept and very very clean.…
This campground is great! I’ve stayed here many times. Normally I use a tent but I’ve stayed in their cabins too. They are much nicer than your average campground cabins.
Amazing views from this campground! Water and electric available (50 amps), grey sewer available. For the black you can dump here or have someone pump out on Wednesday morning (no charge). 20 minutes to Pittsburgh staff friendly and very helpful Definitely recommend this campground
We have a camper, but wanted to take the kids tent camping for a change, and this was the perfect place. It’s first come first serve, but we lucked out with a huge spot, shady, right beside the gorgeous creek, and also the closest to the toilet (which did occasionally send a slight scent our way,…
We loved this campground! We were back in the electric only campground area right on the creek. It was very quiet back there and water fill on your way in. The creek makes the most beautiful flowing sound.
The pool was clean and the kids loved swimming in it
I was thankful for laundry room to…

First trip without kids, shakedown on our new trailer and it was very nice. This is a complete campground has lots of activities for kids and adults alike. They have a little winery and pond to do some fishing as well.
Got a good spot down by the creek with a great view from the tent.
Absolutely fell in love with this private campground. Small with dispersed sites. Well maintained with both valult toilets and a traditional bathroom. Showers are available. Wood and ice available onsite. Just minutes outside of a quaint little town. Great nearby hiking.

Had a very nice time over the 4th of July weekend. Even tho it was busy for the holiday, the camping was relaxing.
My family has headed to this spot for years… it family friendly, has decent fishing, miles of trails, and a small beach. Also zero cell reception! Check out Kinzua dam and Jakes Rock nearby.
The sites are clean, the staff is friendly and the extras (pool, pizza, etc.) are on point. We’ll be back!
There are a number of regular campers that stay here, we found them all very friendly. There are some lots with power and water, some with just water and some without either. Shady spots are somewhat difficult to find, we used a pop up to create our own. Pet friendly and close to a boat ramp,…
My husband and I camped here on a whim, after our original location got rained out. We picked a nice big lot by the dirt road. Though we had neighbors next to us, you could hardly tell they were there. Most people were incredibly respectful of noise levels, which added to the enjoyment of the…
