We stay in the CCC section that has water and electric. The sites are big. The bathroom are a little old, but we really enjoy camping there. Highly recommend 🔥🏕️
It’s a very small campground, looks like 99% of the people live here. Also, looks like they’re trying to do some very nice renovations. But they are really not up for customers. No pool, but they do have a pier that looks nice. We needed a place to stay for the night so we stayed. I don’t think they have any accommodations at all bathrooms or showers. Joy was very nice.
Campground is mostly people that live there, and what few sites they had you had to squeeze into our between people that have the Homestead set up. The office was nice but the campground was not and the people were not welcoming. The only thing I can say is it look like it had a nice pool. We drove around to pick a spot and fast decided we did not want to stay here. Sorry everyone have a good day.
I have belong to KOA‘s for quite a few years and I have learned that you really need to upgrade to the better campsites to enjoy your stay. With that being said I did not take my own advice and I booked a basic 30 amp fullhook up campsite and it was so tight that unfortunately I did not enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I love camping, and the KOA staff and everyone there was very nice but I’ll never book The basic campsite again I’ll pay the few extra dollars to have a bigger site it’s so worth it.
We really like this campground. Very easy to find very easy to maneuver around into the campsites. Nice large campsites clean bathrooms. Very easy access to the village at Lake George and a great bike path. Well hopefully plan another trip there really enjoyed it.
Called a be left messages like answering machine Directed. And after assuring that they return every phone call well it’s 7:30 pm and I’m still waiting for my return calls that I placed 830 am this morning and then 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Like I said in the title practice what you preach.
This is a older campground, and we really enjoyed camping here.. Very quiet, took my grandson and him and my husband had the pool all to themselves…had a nice fire 🔥 going and listened to some good music…toasting marshal mellows. And Killen Sate Park was just a short ride….
We just love this place. It is so big with so many things to do you never have to leave the grounds. We camped feet from the ocean, other family members rented places. A golf cart is a must to get around… and the aren’t cheap 🤷🏻♀️. But will go back every chance we get.
This campground worked out perfectly..so close to the battlefields. It was only for the weekend but we really enjoyed our stay.
Camped here at the end of summer, really loved it. Had our kayaks with us and the water wasn’t but a few steps away. Some sites you are right on the waters edge. Bathroom was clean, pool was closed…not too many campers but it sure was a nice time. Would go back again for sure…
Very nice place…bathrooms and pool are all very clean. Some sites are a little small but everyone is so nice you don’t mind. Bring my grandchildren a lot and they love it. And don’t forget our four legged family members. This campground is also very pet friendly ❤️. We come back as often as possible.
