Enjoyed our short stay

We didn’t stay long and were a bit disappointed that the showers were closed due to a Covid, but other than that the campground was perfect for what we needed. Our campsite felt secluded, but we were still close to the bathrooms and could walk to the restaurant and convenience store.

It was easy to drive up, check the kiosk and find your spot. We lucked out and got a great spot!

2012 camping trip

I had a blast on my dad's friends pontoon boat. He let me take 2 of my girlfriends and my boyfriend with us. We all had such a blast. It was a really nice day too. Definitely a trip to remember.

Great campsite over Labor Day weekend

We like to play things by ear and never make reservations ahead of time. This campsite was great. We checked in at the village and got to pick from a handful of a available spots. There’s lots of water through out the site and the bathrooms are well maintained. We also like the hiking trail that…

Create NP Campground

Mazama campground is a great place to camp while visiting Crater Lake NP.  I was pleasantly surprised given some reviews I've seen.  The campground has quite a few sites, but they are generally spread out enough to give you privacy.  The bathrooms are fairly new and maintained.  The showers were…

Great lake, ok campground.

Our park entrance fee normally $30 was waved because we had a Eagle Pass as well as our 50% discount for our camp site. But be aware you need to go to the village camp store and ask for your discount after paying online for your site and they will refund your discount amount. Moreover at Mazama…

The highest paved road in Oregon

At Crater Lake taking the rim road it leads you the highest point in the park. This road is 7,860’ above sea level and the highest point around the rim drive. We stayed at Manama campground where our site D1 was facing the opposite way so that the fire ring, picnic table and amenities was on the…

A total gem

Absolutely loved it here! Stayed here two nights after Crate Lake NP. Sites are very private, especially those on the outside edge of the loop. Sites are also quite large. Bathroom was clean. Host was friendly. The dirt was raked and you could tell the host did a good job tidying and cleaning up…

An awesome campground with a beautiful lake right next by. The site itself was spacious and plenty of room between sites. Highly recommend spending a night or 2 here!

Nice but…

It was a great, convenient location inside Crate Lake National Park. It’s just across from Mazama Village with a small store, restaurant and gift shop. Gas, fresh waster and dump station available but not at the camp site.

The one major downside, due to COVID restrictions showers were closed.

Near the River, out of the burn

To get to this campground you drive through a long burn section, but don’t worry! No burn at the campground or along the river (which is more like a shallow stream). Spaces are large and bathrooms are kept really clean!
