Squaw Lakes Campground is nestled in the deep shade of a mixed-conifer forest on the banks of Squaw and Little Squaw Lakes. The facility provides tent-only campsites that are reachable via foot trails. The unique, remote setting offers visitors stunning scenery and access to a multitude of recreational opportunities. Recreation Hiking and fishing top the list of recreational opportunities at Squaw Lakes Campground. Two mountain lakes, a river and a handful of hiking trails are accessible from the campground. Anglers enjoy the remote location and scenic backdrop of two natural lakes, providing excellent fishing opportunities for coldwater and warmwater species. Squaw Lake, larger than its sister, sustains rainbow and cutthroat trout, yellow perch, brown bullhead and black bass. Little Squaw Lake provides a rare fishery for 8-11" wild, native coastal cutthroat trout. A 0.25-mile hiking trail connects the lakes. Motors are not permitted on the lakes. From the campground, Little Squaw Trail is a 1-mile interpretive hike that provides visitors with many opportunities for picnicking and swimming. The 2-mile Summit Lake Trail travels through a mixed conifer forest and small water crossings. Facilities Squaw Lakes Campground contains 10 individual sites and five group sites. All sites are walk-in and designated for tent camping only. They are reachable by walking on foot trails from the parking area. Vehicles must be parked outside the gated area, and all personal belongings must be carried to the campsite. The closest campsites are approximately 1/4 mile from parking and the farthest campsites are approximately 1.5 miles from parking. During specific hours (variable) we do offer an ATV portage service for your camping gear. We will not transport people. This service is at the discretion of the Camp Host, and charged at $15 per trip. Picnic tables, campfire rings and vault toilets are provided. Drinking water is provided via a hand-pump, located near site # 2. Most sites are located at the water's edge. Chinook Winds RV Park

The picturesque 988-acre Applegate Lake is nestled in the heart of the RRSNF in the Applegate Valley, and north of the Red Buttes Wilderness Area. The lake was formed in 1980 when the Army Corps of Engineers completed construction of the 242-foot tall Applegate Dam as part of a flood-control project. The lake has a multitude of opportunities available for visitors to explore, including mountain biking, road biking, motorized boating, stand up paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing and hiking the various trails near the lake. Applegate Lake is home to numerous birds and other wildlife species, amazing fisheries, and a plethora of diverse plant life for those seeking spring and early-summer wildflower viewing! There is a trail that travels around the entirety of the 17.5-mile long shoreline, as well as offshoots in the area to keep hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians going! Picnic and day-use areas can be found around the lake, as are swimming areas and campgrounds, including Hart-Tish Park. For boaters, there are conventional boat launching areas--please note that the speed limit on this no-wake lake is 10 mph! Applegate Lake has large populations of trout, landlocked Chinook salmon, smallmouth and largemouth bass, and crappie. It is stocked each year with approximately 120,000 rainbow trout and 50,000 young Chinook. This lake is a reservoir and lake levels will often be lower at the end of the summer. Speed limit on the lake is 10 miles per hour.

Waiiaka RV Park

Camp Ashland is over a mile high in elevation and can be your mountain retreat from the city, or a needed respite from hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. We invite you to our home to begin a challenging series of mountain bike trails on nearby Mount Ashland, for a family outing, or to explore the rich biodiversity of the Siskiyou Mountains. Our camp is the closest private gateway to the 7530 ft peak of Mount Ashland in Southern Oregon!

Camp Ashland is easily accessible near the Oregon / California border via Interstate 5, Exit 6, and on the left, just past the 5 mile marker on Mount Ashland Ski Road. The camp entrance is 500 feet from the Pacific Crest Trail and a short 1/2 mile walk or drive to the campgrounds. There are scenic views of magnificent Mount Shasta on a south facing slope in the Siskiyou Mountains, famous for some of the richest biodiversity around and home to several native plants that exist no where else in the world.

We are happy to provide our guests with a Japanese style outdoor shower with eco-friendly tea-tree body wash and shampoo, fresh water at a community outdoor kitchen with a deep sink for food prep and charcoal grill for cooking, bear proof trash receptacles, an ambiance illuminated with solar lights and starlight and local hiking adventures throughout most of our 120 acres and beyond.

A small year-round stream, pristine riparian environment, cold mountain water and a charming waterfall is waiting for you to discover at the end of the trail here at Camp Ashland. We call the quaint water feature "da Vinci Falls", named after Leonardo da Vinci, who once said,

"When you put your hand in a flowing stream, you touch the last that has gone before and the first of what is still to come".

There are actually about 3 miles of private roads for hiking and adventure but please stay on the existing roads if you are bike riding, to protect this magical place.

The Klamath National Forest sits below and beside the property for unencumbered access to an additional 2,692 square miles of wilderness.. You may see grouse, turkeys, quail, pheasant, deer, fox, bears, elk, squirrels, chipmunks, Martin's, porcupines and other flora and fauna unique to this area. Beautiful views of the Milky Way, and the stars at night without light or noise pollution. You may also enjoy nature walks, beautiful scenic vistas and hiking all within a short 15 minute drive to the city of Ashland, Oregon, for great restaurants, the Schneider Art Museum, art galleries, local shops, and a farmers market.

Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon in the small town of Cave Junction off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest. The land Cedar Bloom sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. Each June we host over 1,000 women to the land for the Annual Spirit Weavers Gathering! This is our home and we are happy to share it with you! &nbsp;The river is just a few min walk down to our own private beach and swimming. The camp is also just a 3 minute walk to the lands pristine swimming hole. These A-Frame Cabins are super cozy at 1000sf with an additional deck that is great for yoga or napping. The cabins include two twin size mattresses and linen bedding. This camp is a 1 minute walk to the main house, private commercial kitchen, cute compost toilet, shower house and sauna. These cabins are ideal for two people. The front part of the cabin can be closed off or opened up to the elements. Since one side of the cabin is clear you can see in a bit but can also drape something over for more privacy. The reason for the clear side to is allow for the feeling of sleeping right outside amongst nature.&nbsp; Cedar Bloom has available power and cell phone service. Cell phone service works great if you have AT&T or Verizon. Internet is limited but is available.We have several giant meadows with thousands of trees surrounding. We are right on the Illinois River with a mile of river frontage and 3 incredible swim spots. It's a great place to come and recharge and renew. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery in all directions!&nbsp; We are close to the Redwoods, The Oregon Caves and so much more. We are close to major cities such as Grants Pass, Medford, Crescent City and Ashland.&nbsp; MORE ABOUT CEDARBlOOM… Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual womens gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,000 women in just two weeks on the land. We are located on the Illinois River just outside Cave Junction, Oregon. Our Main House was built in 1962 and retains the flavor of the 60’s with a beautiful Mid Century Modern feel. It houses a kitchen, dining hall, a living room, five bedrooms and three bathroom with a bathtub. It currently houses Agustin and Mea and their seven year old daughter Naia. Grateful to be voted#1 Staff choice for Campground on Hipcamp this year!&nbsp; FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE OF THE ILLINOIS VALLEY For thousands of years, the Takelma people lived in the Illinois and Rogue River valleys, what is now known as Josephine County. They lived in small bands close to the land. Interior southwest Oregon has pronounced seasons and the ancient Takelma adapted to these seasons by spending spring, summer and early fall months collecting and storing food for the winter season. Salmon was central to their food source and way of life. The salmon diet was supplemented by game, such as deer, elk, beaver, bear, antelope and bighorn sheep. Smaller mammals, such as squirrels, rabbits and gophers, might have been snared by both men and women. They gathered the root of the Camas plant, part of the asparagus family, as well as acorns from the two native species of Oaks, the Oregon white oak and California black oak. Other vegetation included manzanita berries, pine nuts, tarweed seeds, wild plums and sunflowers. The Takelma are also known to have cultivated a native tobacco plant, but otherwise relied on the fruits of the wilderness for their survival. The main utensils included horn, bone and wood-made implements and a great variety of baskets constructed generally by twining on a hazel warp. Stone was used in the making of arrowheads and pestles. The clothing and personal adornment of the Takelma was similar to the tribes of northern California. Notable characteristics include facial painting, red-headed woodpecker scalps for men and basket caps for women. The women also tattooed the skin in three stripes and men tattooed the left arm. European Settlement of the Illinois Valley began by the 1830’s, as the gold and logging industries developed. By the end of 1856, the traditional residents of the Rogue and Illinois River valleys were forcibly removed and relocated to the Siletz Reservation on the central Oregon coast. The Takelma were joined on the reservations by their neighbors, the Athapaskans and the Shasta, as well as tribes from even farther away, such as the Coos and Tillamook. It is reported that by 1906 less than ten Takelma were alive and able to speak their native language.In 1994, for the first time in over 140 years, an ancient ceremony took place to welcome home and give thanks for the returning salmon, on the Kanaka Flats of the Applegate River. People of all heritages were welcomed at the annual Salmon Gathering on the Applegate River until 2006. In 2007, the ceremony was moved to the place where it was held for thousands of years: the Tilomikh(Powerhouse Falls), on the Rogue River near Gold Hill, Oregon. Since then, the ceremony has taken place annually in its traditional location, demonstrating that the Takelma culture is alive and will continue into the future. Today, Takelma descendents continue to reside on or near the Siletz and Grand Ronde reservations. The Pilgrims brought back the Salmon Ceremony to Southern Oregon. Due to the Pilgrim’s contribution in returning the Salmon Ceremony to Jackson County, Agnis Baker-Pilgrim is known to some locals as the‘Keeper of the Sacred Salmon Ceremony. Agnes, one of the oldest grandmothers of the International Council of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, has returned to the Rogue Valley and today her voice can be heard strong and clear, proving that the spirit and blood of her people are still with us.&nbsp; PLANT& ANIMAL RELATIONS We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. The animals here include, but are not limited to deer, foxes, coyote, raccoon, skunks, and sometimes black bear though we havent seen any yet! The birds that surround us are migratory geese, quail, wild turkeys, hawks, ospreys and eagles. The fish that call the Illinois River their home are the Salmon People, Steelhead& Trout along with their friends the otter and ducks. The Land is a no-hunting zone so the animals here are abudant and safe. The plant life here is incredibly diverse. This land is home to many native grasses, ferns, and berries, wild flowers, as well as many other edible and medicinal plants and fungi such as mugwort, self-heal, soap root, and a variety of mushrooms. The tree population is a blend of hardwoods like Manzanita, Madrone, and several kinds of Oaks along with mature Fir, Pine, Cedar trees, Alder, Maple and Apples. With special attention to management of non-native and invasive plants, Spirit Weavers is committed to maintaining a well balanced forest ecosystem with high biodiversity. You can check in by 2:pm on the day of your arrival.&nbsp; CLIMATE& THE ILLINOIS VALLEY Cedar Bloom holds the heart during the summer. Temps can range from 75-95 during the day and generally cools down to the 70's during the evenings. Swimming in the summer months is delicious. We have mostly pebbly beaches and a jagged rock and sand beach right where the Swimming hole is. The river is chilly until late June and it cools down again in late September.&nbsp; NEIGHBORS There is another campground right next door but since we have 100 acres, you never really see a soul besides us! Please use our pathways to travel property next to us, and respect the privacy and tranquility of our neighbors by not keeping late hours or playing loud music.&nbsp; EMERGENCIES If someone needs to reach you in an emergency, Cell phones work great on the land. If you don't get service and need to contact someone our land phones are available.&nbsp; SHOWER HOUSE& SAUNA We have twelve showers total. The first shower house is open showering with 4 showers and the 2nd shower house has 8 stalls. You are also welcome to use the sauna throughout your stay.&nbsp; COMPOST TOILET The"Honeydew Station" is our two chamber composting toilet. It looks like a tiny house and you will see it on your right as you drive in. Instructions are inside!&nbsp; FOOD& WATER Please bring your own food to camp. Town is close so if you need to run errands to grab food its a short drive away. All of our water is on a well and is super clean and ran through a UV light. Please keep food and garbage out of the reach and smell of animals so we don’t have animal visitors at night.&nbsp; GARBAGE If you pack it in, please pack it out when you leave.&nbsp; FIRES Depending on the time of year, cooking fires are permissible in the fire pits provided. June-Sept there can sometimes be fire bans in the county. Please NO bonfires. We have fire wood in the forest around the meadow for use for cooking fires but please bring your own wood to the land. We also have wood available for purchase in the Camp Store.&nbsp; PETS If you must bring your pet, please message us before hand. We ask that you clean up after your pup while here. We have doggie bags in the camp store.&nbsp; THE RIVER & SWIMMING HOLES We have a mile of river frontage and there is tons of space for all. Keiki Beach located down the trail from the sauna is the more shallow and flatter part of the river. This is a great spot for families and doggies! Mermaid Rock which is located down the trail to your left of the main house is our large swimming hole with deeper waters. This part of the river is clothing optional. Please be aware of the rocks down at Mermaid Rock& Dock. The rocks are tricky to walk on for both adults and especially children. Please keep your eyes on your children at all times while at the river. Feel free to bring rafts to play on.&nbsp; CAMP STORE If you happen to forget anything we have a camp store that is located in the main meadow. The Camp store sells everything from supplies to books and trinkets. If you text Mea she can meet you there anytime.&nbsp; GRATITUDE We feel honored to be stewards of this land. Lane Creek Reserve

Jackson Campground is located on the beautiful Applegate River in the Applegate Valley near Medford, Grants Pass and historic Jacksonville. Recreation Jackson Campground sits on the shores of the Applegate River, a popular recreation site located north of the Red Buttes Wilderness Area. Visitors enjoy swimming, cycling, boating, canoeing, fishing and hiking the various trails near the river. Nearby is the inactive Bigfoot trap, found at the beginning of the trail, built in 1974 by the North American Wildlife Research Team. The trap was inspired by a miner who lived near the Applegate River who claimed to have found 18-inch-long, human-like tracks in his garden. The organization operated the trap, keeping it baited with carcasses for six years, but caught only bears. Currently the Forest Service keeps an eye on the trap, but otherwise does not maintain it Facilities The campground has eight tent only campsites, three dry RV sites and one group site. Campsites are located along the Applegate River. Camp trailers are not recommended due to tight corners and short campsite spur lengths. The day use area is adjacent to campground. Drinking water and flush toilets are available. There are NO showers Kayak and paddle board rentals are available at nearby Applegate Lake, $30 for 3-hrs or $45 all-day. There is also a boat ramp offered at the Lake. Please note, there is a two-night minimum when you desire to reserve a Friday or Saturday night. Recreation Beaver Sulphur Group Campground offers outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to hike, fish, hunt and enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities throughout the year. A handful of hiking trails are accessible from the campground and in the surrounding areas. The nearby Mule Mountain Trail offers a special opportunity to access the hillsides above Applegate Valley and witness the seasonal changes in wildlife activity. It is a long-distance hike, winding up and around the arid ridges of the Oregon Siskiyous. In the spring, dwarf star tulips, lilies, shooting stars, larkspurs and buttercups puncture the needle and leaf mat and adorn the grass floor. Nearby Applegate Lake is a popular recreation lake, located north of the spectacular Red Buttes Wilderness Area. The lake is popular for swimming, cycling, boating, canoeing, fishing and hiking the various trails near the lake. Facilities Beaver Sulphur Group Campground offers a large, reservable group site that has individual spurs for tents and trailers. The site is equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings and vault toilets. Natural Features The unique character of the landscapes comprising the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest has led to the designation of over 340,000 acres of the forest as Wilderness, and over 200 miles of streams as National Wild and Scenic Rivers. The forest itself is composed of two distinct geological provinces, the Cascade Range and the Siskiyou Mountains. The Cascade Range is dominated by snow-capped volcanic peaks, such as 9,495 foot Mt. McLoughlin, located within the Sky Lakes Wilderness. The Siskiyou area embodies the most complex and treasured plant communities in the Pacific Northwest. World-class wild rivers, biological diversity, remarkable fisheries resources and complex watersheds define the Siskiyou. Diverse landscapes provide habitat for a wide-range of wildlife, from spotted owls and bull elk to salamanders and sandhill cranes. Nearby Attractions The United States Congress designated the Red Buttes Wilderness in 1984 and it now includes a total of 19,940 acres. Management of the Red Buttes Wilderness, located on the California/Oregon border, is shared by the Klamath National Forest and the Rogue River - Siskiyou National Forest. The majority of the Wilderness lies within the boundaries of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. Several lakes are accessible in the forest. Squaw Peak looks south to Squaw Lakes, a semi-primitive developed recreation area that accepts camping reservations from May through September. Applegate lake is a large reservoir with boat ramps, campgrounds, viewpoints and a developed recreation area named Hart tish. Both Squaw Lakes and Applegate lake are open for fishing year-round. We have become a highly rated stop for commuters traveling the PNW coastal highways & those venturing from LA to Seattle! Once you enter the property, you will feel like you are completely disconnected from the city life, and will be welcomed by our rolling hills, epic views of Mt. McLoughlin, warming sunrises, and breathtaking sunsets.  Staying with us, you will enjoy a slice of heaven we call home and experience the farm life up close, all while having access to local farmers markets and shops, Target & Trader Joes. Once there you can effortlessly experience rafting on class 4 rapids of the Rouge River, ziplining, amazing vineyards, quick day hikes, and picturesque waterfalls.  Need more, Mount Ashland, Crater Lake, Lake of the Woods, and the Table Rocks are all within 1.5 hours of our property! 

Surrounded by adventure, we also offer a scene of silence.  Although our sites are not FULLY private, you have enough space to escape into silence and simply chill.  We offer hammocks, picnic tables, access to our farm and welcome you to be as involved or disconnected as you choose.  

While on the property, you can purchase our grass-fed, fully organic raised meat & poultry, and depending on the season and crop you can harvest your own veggies to go with it!  
For long stays (3+ nights) you will have a complimentary dozen eggs to enjoy during your stay and little treats from the farm when in season. 

As a working farm,  we work with the sun and sleep with the stars.  Morning moo's and calls from the rooster will wake you, so plan on nature being your soundtrack while staying with us!


The Space:
Our campsite is a peaceful getaway in the heart of Central Point, Oregon just a hop off the I-5 freeway at Gold Hill. Come, Connect, Cultivate or Chill

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). We welcome you to enjoy our land while you are here, but as a working farm, we need you to understand the boundaries.   Please note, on arrival you MUST meet your campkeeper for a tour and rule review.  

Please plan accordingly to arrive while the sun is up, you will have a VERY difficult time navigating the land in the pitch dark! 

Our allowance per tent is 4 people, which allows for 2 to sleep on the floor.  You will need to provide the bedding, sleep pads and comfort items for the guests on the floor. The Queen bed is fully furnished with pillows, sheets & blankets.
