Best Cabin Camping near Glendale, OR

Several cabin options surround Glendale in southern Oregon, with furnished accommodations at places like Sunny Valley Campground and Seven Feathers RV Resort. Sunny Valley Campground provides cabins with basic amenities, while Seven Feathers offers more upscale accommodations with indoor facilities. Cabin sites typically include picnic tables, nearby restrooms, and electricity. Most cabins feature beds with mattresses, climate control options, and some level of furnishing. A visitor noted, "We stayed at this KOA in one of their nice cabins was a very nice place with waterfall swimming hole in the back of our cabin really nice folks."

Rustic and deluxe cabins are both available, depending on the location. Grants Pass KOA offers family-friendly cabin options with proximity to swimming areas, while Chief Miwaleta RV Park provides more secluded cabin experiences. Reservation policies vary by location, with most requiring advance booking, particularly during summer months. According to reviews, Seven Feathers RV Resort provides "top end amenities, clean and tidy" accommodations but with stricter rules than rustic campgrounds. Most cabin sites allow pets with proper registration, though specific policies differ between properties. Cabins at Jackson Wellsprings and Valley of the Rogue State Park remain open year-round.

Most cabins include beds but require visitors to bring their own linens, towels, and toiletries. Kitchen facilities range from basic microwaves to full kitchenettes in premium cabins. On-site camp stores at locations like Sunny Valley Campground and Grants Pass KOA provide basic supplies and firewood. Refrigerators are standard in deluxe cabins but may be absent in more rustic options. While several campgrounds feature on-site markets, others require bringing all supplies. Nearby towns offer grocery stores and additional provisions for longer stays.

Ochoco NF-Ochoco West - Prineville Area

    Great Place

This is a great place.  The cabin is vintage and takes you back in time.  It was clean and comfortable.  The out house was very clean.  There is no water so you need to bring your own.  The Fridge and stove worked really well, we did have issues trying to get the lights to work.  But we had lanterns so it was not a problem.  We were visited by some cattle that were grazing near by.  Bring your own cleaning supplies and bedding.  The beds are full size with trundles under neath, there are two of them.  There is a small table with chairs in the kitchen.  There  is a picnic table and fire ring outside as well.

    Sunny Valley Campground

    Very nice!

We were here for a quick overnight in our 24' travel trailer. The place is very nice with tent, cabin, and RV sites. Our site was partial HU but they do have full HU sites. Bathrooms and showers were clean. It's close to I-5 bit the road noise was not bad and a chorus of frogs throughout the evening distracts from it. We were in spot 67 which was spacious and offered a great deal of privacy. Picnic table and fire pit on site. The nearby covered bridge is neat to see.

Valley of the Rogue State Park Campground

Brilliant blue waters in an intrepid forest.

This beautiful camp ground is a must! They have Cabins and camp sites available. I would advise reserving far in advance. The park and sites are well taken care of and a wonderful environment for a peaceful stay with hot shower facilities and restrooms.

Family and pet friendly, you will have direct river access to The Rogue River and its brilliant blue waters. Located down it's own little valley, this gives it the seclusion you are looking for and the access to town, if needed, only about 20 minutes away.

This camp ground is well worth any drive you may have to take to get there. Gorgeous!

    Hi-Way Haven RV Park

    Great experience!

Great RV park! All sites are pull through, fenced off leash dog area, several other on leash dog areas, playground, nice little store, ice, propane on site, and most importantly the movies on the old drive-in screen Thursday through Saturday nights during the summer! I cannot comment on the showers as I used my own and not theirs. 30 and 50 amp sites. Nice packed gravel sites with paved patio areas and wood fence dividers between sites. Each site has bistro style table and chairs (2). I really enjoyed!! Oh and if you choose to sit in the nice grassy area (plastic Adirondack chairs provided) for the movie they serve free popcorn 🍿 If you can see screen from your site the sound on FM station. Good wineries close too!!

Valley of the Rogue State Park Campground

    Trying the yurt thing 💜

We had a relaxing time during our stay at the campground the yurt was warm and cozy, and has a beautiful skylight that you can open if you so choose. You will need to bring your own bedding as it’s only provides you with the furniture there’s electricity as well, but no other amenities in the yurt. The facilities were clean and easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again

    Peaceful grounds, Lack of Communication

This review is for the open camping.

I arrived and after looking around for a long while for someone, I was given a quick pointing out of where everything generally was. A map or better signage is sorely needed.

The grounds were peaceful. There are open-air showers, a community kitchen, sauna and swimming hole. The mini A-frames and dome look very cool, even from a distance.

I tried out the sauna. It didn’t seem to be working for over 40 minutes. No one was around to troubleshoot. It just started working eventually on its own and was nice, relaxing.

    LaVerne County Park

Beautiful county park with awesome hosts

We just had to escape the crazy busy Oregon Coast so we drove inland to this county park along the North Fork of the Coquille River. There are modern flush toilets and vault toilets. Our campsite was between two waterfalls including Laverne Falls. We had a view of the smaller one from our creek side site. We paid $15.23 for site 59. Picnic table, fire ring and potable water. We were there on a Monday night with just a few campers present but the locals enjoy it on the weekends for swimming and picnicking. Beautiful setting.
