    Rustic Lakeside Hidden Gem

Lake of the Woods RV and Cabin Resort in Oregon. It is a lake surrounded by trees 30 min West of Klamath Falls. This is truly a cozy hidden gem! It’s rustic and clean with all the amenities you need. The max stay is 14 days and full hook ups are $50-$60. The restaurant and pizza parlor are fantastic! And in Oregon, you pay zero sales tax!

Rainbow Bay at Lake of the Woods

    Great spot for the family!

My entire family has stayed here twice for family reunions and it has been a great spot for the entire family! They have cabins (tiny houses) for rent as well as spots for RVs! The lake is absolutely stunning and a great size for boating and fishing. The tiny cabins do have some critters living in them but as long as you don’t leave food on the counters you should be okay!

    Crater Lake Resort

    Wonderful Retreat

Stayed in the primative cabin for an evening with the spouse and our dog. The little store was great for last minute supplies and gifts, the resort offered free canoe rentals, but we had brought our own kayaks and used them in the slow moving creek. The beds in the cabin were wood, so we should have brought more pillows, but overall we loved the spot and the amenities! We would stay again and recommend it to everyone!

    Little Mt. Hoffman Lookout

My first fire lookout did NOT disappoint me!!

Having always wanting to , but never pulling the trigger, finally changed. OMG it was FANTASTIC!!

Easy drive, with paved roads until the very end. One receives the gate code the week prior to the reservation for the gate & door. Upon arrival you are greeted with MAGNIFICENT VISTAS 360 degrees!! Wrap-around balcony & windows!! Wee fireplace inside & a fire pit outside. 2 picnic tables. A vault toilet 20 yards away from cabin.

    Don’t wait….pull the trigger!!!

    Klamath Falls KOA

    Klamath Overnight

Klamath Falls KOA is a good stop over place on your way to Crater Lake. This KOA has all the amenities that you expect from a KOA. I especially like the pool on a hot day. It has a few unique cabins that seem like a fun place to stay along with a few tent camping spots.

There's a shopping center within a 10 min walk from the campground that has a grocery and sporting goods store along a pizza, BBQ and Thai restaurant.

    Cell Service: Good

    Klamath Falls KOA

Great campground in the middle of the city

Want to be close to town for a night. This KOA is well kept, has a small store, gas station and propane. Also offers a clean pool and restroom. Camp sites are nice wirh green grass. There are also tent camping and cabins for rent. Be aware of midges, found by the water in these parts of Oregon (koa is by a canal). They don't bite, but are annoying and look like a mosquito. This KOA is close to stores, to refill groceries, restaurants and the Amazing Crater Lake and Lava beds National Parks.

    Lake of The Woods Resort

    Beauty Everywhere!

I first came here with my family back in the 1970’s and had such a great time I couldn’t help coming back for a visit all these years later, gladly much hasn’t changed. The resort is rustic and beautiful and everything you need. The lake is right there and the views are spectacular. Some tent sites are steps away from the shore, and other sites have hook ups for rigs. This is a great jump off spot to Klamath Falls & Crater Lake or just short drives to explore the surroundings.
